Quick note - There are some minor issues throughout the video due to my mic disconnecting and reconnecting without me noticing whilst prepping the days of recoeding so It overloads at times! Good example is 1:22:00 Ish where the volume also spikes, little more than I thought it did during editing and double checking before the upload, sorry!! Nothing major I hope, but I am aware of It! Also be sure to stick around until the end.. The Katzen really are impossible to predict, even when you 'TRY' and stop them from spawning!

Hey there, I'm the member of the gigas team who wrote the frame world. Thanks for taking a look at it! After seeing so many people fail to understand what's going on, it was refreshing to see someone actively reading the documentation and really taking a moment to learn how to play it. Bravo! There was one more big upgrade that you didn't see in this playthrough, which is the "Implement Maginot Doctrine" decision from the maginot world tech, which requires Unyielding traditions to get. I'm sure you can imagine what it does, though.

Mostly cause most mods have compatibility issues with NSC, that and NSC has a lot of feature bloat which Rodahtnov (creater of evolved) does not want to deal with
@gamesandglory16482 жыл бұрын
@Tw3n7y aexperiment The main dev of NSC does not care for compatibility, they actively prevent other people from making compatibility patches with it (and try to sue them, despite the fact that at least for stellaris, modders don't have the right to do that), I believe there were also instances of them not liking a mod or its dev so they specifically went out of the way to make it incompatible.

The ability to stack complex drone output bonuses is one of the Rogue Servitor's biggest bonuses, and stacking all of those buffs on ONE WORLD makes each complex drone get stupidly dumb. this is my favorite of the full playthroughs you've done, even with the mic issues! i like the tall playstyle a lot since it's hard as a viewer to keep track of many different planets- following the development of one or a few planets is much easier. that, combined with the fairly active playstyle- you're always starting or ending a war of some kind- makes it very engaging to watch. please do more in this style!

Probably one of your most charismatic playthroughs, which says a lot because of how many great runs of Stellaris and other games you've done. Rogue Servitors are an interesting middle ground between classic AI rebellion tropes and an actually beneficial empire, they don't fit neatly into the Cylon cycle that characterizes fiction about robots since the concept was invented. It makes me want stories written about these kinds of domineering machines and how they would act, sometimes friendly against larger threats, but always scheming to take total control, for your own safety of course. Even though this was basically just you rolling over everyone bit by bit, a lot of wacky stuff happened along the way. Very memorable, very enjoyable.

Big spoilers about some of the Gigastructural stuff, but here is what I pieced together about the Katzen FE we see here: . . . . . . . . . . So, with the Pouchkinian Research Network, what seems to be the lore (Pieced together from where Pouchkin appears otherwise): This time the Katzen colony expedition to the Jublio system doesn't happen, but neither does the nuclear holocaust Meopa kicks off as noted by the Katzenland archeology site (I recommend doing that with a reanimator-style civic, you'll have a ton of fun with the bonus event). I don't know how, or if this impacts the Paluushian archives though. So, Katzen expand, but before they turn into a fallen empire Pouchkin takes over and takes on the same task as he would do on the Orbital Elysium (You can see that in-game later). The answer to the universe Only this time he focuses on building a Matrioshka brain instead. And the rest is history. Do correct me if I missed something, but this is what I've gathered from it.
@No_Name_Provided2 жыл бұрын
1:31:05 The Paluushians will live forever in the archives of the Caretakers. Literally. 1:44:40 A laudable effort. If the galactic core supports it, you could build a Quasi Stellar Obliterator and try that. If that failed, you could declare your task complete and give away the Frameworld to your trusted allies, the Dekron Savants. If that failed, you'd have to get creative. Perhaps you could cause a galaxy-ending crisis, or engineer a hostile takeover by an AI that's opposed to organic life. On a more serious note, congrats on finishing a full playthrough. Turning down the pop cap really improved the late-game performance.

It also has custom models and textures for crisis ships, so you don't get stuck with the ugly raider ships for those it's quickly become my favorite shipset, *maybe* tied with the Ascendant shipset Oh, and it also has its own appearance for all vanilla megastructures, and a compatibility patch with gigastructures to allow it to change some of those as well.
