the dc1, dc2, dc3, dc4, dc5, dc6, dc7, dc8, and dc9 should've been Douglas not McDonnell Douglas. McDonnell Douglas was for the dc10, md11, md80 and md90

@@theplaneguy-o1k yes, but dc10 was still in development when the merger with mcdonnell happened so it became the mcdonnell douglas dc10 while still bearing the dc part. also the dc series aircraft (dc9 for example) was literally marketed as *douglas* dc9. it doesnt have to be douglas commercial 9 because that wasnt what it was referred to as.
