Hello everyone! There are technically a few more endings. But they are almost identical to the ones featured. Like if you deactivate the atp and then die. You basically get the same ending as the first one. You can also get the scout to fly by the 14.3 billion years later scene by shooting it into the wormhole or any smoke at the eyes planet. And if you dont meet Solanum she isnt at the end scene campfire with the rest of the explorers! I thought showing those with only minor variations wouldnt be too helpful. Hope you guys enjoy it. Bare with some of the strange techniques. No ui and god mode makes you play differently. And some of it was just to save time.
0:01 die without statue sync
1:24 HEL Ending
4:22 entering atps core ending
9:17 Drift Ending
13:18 Solunums Fate

My most memorable moment was when one loop, I decided to chase after the probe launched from the orbital probe cannon. I knew it wouldn’t help but i wanted to see it close up. So i chased after it and abandoned my ship because of the autopilot, and when i got to the probe, i just traveled with it for the rest of my oxygen meter. When i got far enough away, I used my signalscope to hear some music, and for the first time I noticed they all synced up, and it was beautiful. I felt like even though the universe was dying, It didn’t matter. The connection we all had to the music weirdly put me at rest. That was probably my favorite gaming moments of all time

I had a similar moment, where I realized that this game was hitting me emotionally. Spoilers ahead After discovering that the nomai built a sun station to trigger a super nova to power their device, I was angry. That they knew it would end the solar system yet still built it, all to discover the location of their selfish obsession. While at the time I didn't understand that they planned to stop the loop, so all I could see was these selfish beings. After searching all over to find a way to turn it off, I finally made it to the sun station, hoping to find clues. It was there I discovered the truth. That the device failed That the nomai died hundreds of thousands of years ago That they never did see their project in action as they could never power it That it really was just time for our sun, our universe to die. That it was no ones fault I was left empty. All this time I was trying to stop it but it is inevitable. I then saw a skeleton, resting on a bench watching the sun. The timer in the room said I had less than a minute left, so I just went and stood next to that skeleton and watched the sun eat the station I was on. It was a surreal moment, me connected with another being long dead, maybe even the one who built this station, connected in our failure to change anything, watching it all end.

I flew after the probe and kept the ship by cancelling the autopilot and never getting back in the seat after i got to it, and was surprised there was nothing there for the entire loop, as I hadn’t explored much by then. About 5 or 6 hours later I understood why there was nothing at the probe, but at least something, like a message would have been nice

My favorite "ending" was my 2nd death. The 1st one was a classic autopilot-into-sun scenario, so I wasn't even aware that the sun was going supernova. So on that second life, I had wound up back at the village, checking on the locals after visiting the moon and mining site to see if any of the dialogue had changed. (Since the statue had moved back to its original position, and the one guy had moved from the observatory, I was very curious to see if anything else was different). I had reached the tree guy (next to the ghost matter place) and after talking to him, I realized what looked like fireworks off in the distance. The guy talks about signalscopes, so I figured maybe I should be using that. Zooming in, _that_ music started playing in the bg, and a couple seconds later, I started to realize the stars were fireworks. The stars were going out. Then of course, our sun collapsed. It was just such a memorable moment that slapped together to realizations into one very re-contextualizing moment.
@Afdog
@Afdog 3 жыл бұрын
It was really funny that I learned out that supernova explodes only on my 6th cycle or something like that. As my 1st death was dying from the ghost matter on starting planet before synching, second death was on the water planet when I was on an island and suddenly I realized I was in zero-g and was like "waaat?" and while I was analyzing what just happened - the island landed back on the planet and I landed back on the island and died. And then I actually was caught by supernova, but I was on water planet couple of times, so I heard dramatic and awesome music, but didn't actually see anything, as there's solid clouds there, so the music stopped and suddenly new cycle, and once again I was "waaat?" And the last time I accidentially crash-landed on a comet, I didn't even know that it was "landable" and found all the info that there's crack on the other side and it melts, so I flew around the comet and somehow managed to land in the front side and realized that it must go closer to the sun to melt and waited. Went to check the map, where are we and where's the sun and was like -OH MY GOD THE SUN IS RED AND IT BECAME GIGANTIC! And I watched on this map amazed, but heard some strange sounds and turned of the map right at the moment when dramatic music started. And you know what? The comet flew close to water planet and I was dragged by it's gravity from the comet goddamit! And I didn't see the explosion. Again. Well I saw it plenty of times afterwards, but still it's pretty funny how this god forsaken water grave didn't want to show me the view
@sonosmith48
@sonosmith48 Жыл бұрын
I had a similar experience when seeing the supernova. It was my 3rd or 4th cycle and I just figured how to use the signalscope, so I went around Timber Hearth investigating the sound that matched the one from Dark Bramble. Talked to the guy, launched the probe, then I heard the music. I looked around, didn't see anything, then I looked up and saw this bright blue energy hurtling towards me. I straight up thought "Oh damn, is that the blue comet thingy hitting the planet?" Then died seconds later. Only way I figured it out was several cycles of fall damage later when I heard the same music while on the Ember Twin

@@sugarcombfilms3467 Right!? As they said its basicly sending the essence of yourself back in time. So you just got the memories of your future self. But if you then dont act exaclty as your future self shouldnt that create an paradoxon aswell and thus destorying the fabric of spacetime again? Because how can the information be send back if these are created by a future you that dosnt exist anymore unless you act the same as your future self did. Maybe its okay because the information that was created is just a memory and not realy matter. but then again your memories are stored inside your brain which is made of matter after all.

@@singinceil I mean, this discussion would end in nothing certain considering we dont know the exact rules of time travel as it doesnt exist yet to our knowledge. To you, who has an inside perspective on the quantum moon, you see it in one particular state. But from a outside perspective, the rule would still apply. This is why it is called « Solanum’s fate » You can see his corpse on the 5 locations, but he is alive on the 6th This is because he died on the quantum moon. But the 6th location is outside of the time itself, so he is 5/6 dead, 1/6 alive. Same happens to the player with the supernova i think

It was similar for me. I was very confused why I was breaking space time. Did I get too close to the center of the universe? Was a little annoyed at that point because I kept trying and I wasn't able to jump from the pole. I then looked online and I think it was because at the previous loop I jumped into the black hole at atp and my timing just lined up in a way that when I was trying to reach the center of the universe, the game told me that I broke reality...

My favourite moments in this game are: The first time you launch your ship into space The first time you visit each planet (especially Brittle Hollow) The first time you get sucked into the Brittle Hollow black hole The first time you synchronize the music by flying far out and watching the sun explode with the music The first time you create a new universe out of the music and ashes of the past universe. This moment just makes me proud to be human and that humans can create something so beautiful. And of course then watching the big bang the first time. There are many more memorable moments you encounter in this game, and most of the above are intended by the story. But it never felt like you were pushed to a certain ending. It always felt like it was a natural thing as a self-concious being to keep exploring and to seek the truth. And that failure is part of the solition. That death is not in this reality to put an end to everything but to rather give birth to something new and thereby give meaning to the new born.

@@TheLoreExplorer thanks for your reply. So I don't need to bring the core on the moon? I've read in the wiki you should bring it to obtain a different ending.

Not as far as I know. I hope they didn't write that wiki based off my video lol. I just figured it'd be a cool view. Since the Nomai made the warp cores and all.

I think that the 5 skeletons could be the bodys of solanum, because 5 solanums died and only one is alive

This video is over a year old but I still comment anyway. My first death was by colliding my ship with the debris from the orbital cannon, so I didn't know that the sun will go supernova. On my second run examined the debris and 21 minutes or so passed. My next thought was: "Hey, what would happen if I shoot my scout in this giant friggin' fireball?" I shot my scout and after it has been automatically retrieved the sun collapsed... My next thought: "Did I do that?" Hell, I thought that I broke my save or something.

When I got the core, I was trying to go so fast that I managed to crash my ship into the bramble. Luckily I survived. Well... kind of luckily... I had the feeling it might have been game over anyway, because I only had my suit. I got to the excape pod and shoot the probe, but both my oxygen and fuel were running low. So when I got to the hatching ground, it wasn't just about waiting to get out of range of the anglers, I also had to look at my oxygen, which was running dangerously low. So as soon as I could vaguely see the eggs, I sprinted towards the last teleport. By the time I got to the ship, I had just as little oxygen as I had fuel. I managed to get to the last hallway, but I was already making choking noises. I managed to reach the trees JUST in time. I fumbled the core, but managed to place it just as my fuel ran out, and the gravity turned on. I feel like they planned it like that D:

I see in this video that there is a way to turn on the locator for the vessel, but I was under the impression that didn't work when I tried it. Anyway, it was very exciting to actually make it this way ^_^

@@RC-1290 Wait there's a locator for the vessel? To find the vessel I always just went straight from the bramble entrance into the nest then just fired my scout around until I found a seed that wasnt one of the bright lights and it would always take me to the vessel.

What I thought was the real ending at first was, I took the core out of ATP and just left the chamber with it, wandered around on the sand planet for a bit until the sun supernova'd and got the "you are dead" screen, which was new to me, and some credits. Figured it was such a dour ending, but at least I put an end to the time loop, lol

1:01 Huh. I wonder if you could cheese that to get onto the landing pad without the launch codes... Oh, Also, what happens if you pull the core and just... hang out in the ATP shell? Like... surely the supernova cracks it and kills you eventually, right?
@TheLoreExplorer
@TheLoreExplorer 4 жыл бұрын
I tried for a long time to get the geyser to knock me up onto the launchpad. Almost made it a few times. If you hang out inside the atp it's pretty cool. You see the cover for the core open, then memories stream through the black hole from the masks. Then the supernova breaks through and kills us.

I felt really close to Gabro because they were the only one who truly understood what I was experiencing. I loved Felspar because he's a freaking legend and Riebeck is my Big Bro but Gabro already understood what took me dozens of loops and getting to the Eye of the Universe to understand. Acceptance.
