That's what I was most impressed with.. Half of these throws he literally surrounding by a collapsing pocket and seems unphased. Gonna lead to lots of fumbles though if Giants O line can't give him more time. He's got a hell of an arm too and puts a sweet spiral on it. Even as a Cowboys fan, I'm glad to see this kid doing well in his first start. Good for him. Might even pick him up for my fantasy team 😎

PGD Panda in hindsite, there may have been a chance to snag him at 17, but in real time it’s impossible to know that. When you’re drafting a qb and you see your guy, you risk absolutely nothing to get him. Gettleman and shurmer saw exactly what you saw tonight in Daniel jones when they scouted him (340 yds and 4 TD’s in his first nfl game). They couldn’t take the chance that another franchise didn’t see the same thing when scouting him, which I’m sure a few franchises did.

Wow! What a performance from a rookie QB. Down 18 points and no running game in the second half, the Bucks were gunning for Jones. They were after him, with fury. They sacked him a few times and caused a couple fumbles. But like he showed in the preseason, he has poise, a lively arm, a set of wheels, makes quick decisions and with time is accurate. He came to the Giants with all these attributes. Other than the play book I don't think he has learned much since becoming a giant. As a Giants fan, I am super excited we got this guy. He's perfect so far besides the fumbles. Love the way he carries himself as a person. I still wish tho, in a perfect world, we were able to get an edge rusher at 6 and have him be there at 17. Especially watching our defense play through three weeks. They need help. BUT, that being said, I am glad we got our guy. Side note, Evan Engrams one handed grab and fight for the first down on the first offensive drive is an extremely underrated play in this game.

If the receiving core is healthy with shep, Tate, engram, Barkley out the backfield, Slayton, Coleman, Latimer and fowler, thats not terrible by any means if you throw in maybe a free agent or 2-3 round receiver next year. That 1st round pick has to be a defensive player, preferably chase young. They get that, and some defense with their 100 million in cap space and a lot of their draft picks then this team has a very bright future

@@kuaci6522 Say what you will about Odell Beckham, but he's one of the best receivers in the game. And compared to what we've all seen from Antonio Brown, his drama doesn't seem so bad. We just saw what Daniel Jones can do with the receivers he had today, I for one would love to see what Danny Dimes throwing to Odell Beckham would look like.
