Yes guys, we're on the final world of Plants VS Zombies 2! This video covers both Modern Day AND tutorial plants and while I'm not that big on the whole concept of shadow plants, there's still some good plants in the world.

Fun fact about Nightshade: Nightshade does more damage with melee range rather than when it's a long-range plant. Nightshade does 200 damage per shot at melee range, and 100 damage per shot when powered, but its range is expanded.

The shadow plants are sooooooooo underrated. Moon flower is one of the best sun producing plants. And way better than a normal sunflower Night shade is always a better option than a normal peashooter. Shadow shroom is amazing even without moon flower. If you use it plant foods it could destroy an entire wave possibly. Grim rose is good if you need to kill a zombie quick i guess. And dusk lobber is really good. Without a moon flower it still is decent. It is like a mini melon pult. But with the moon flower is attacks in 3 lanes! And I think the splash can hit the other two lanes too.

Dusk lobber is easily the best modern day plant being one of the best plants in the entire game and the moon flower completely outclasses all other sun producers except primal sunflower.

yep, 2 moonflower and when you spam dusk lobbers it became SO OP the only thing that dusk lobber has bad is the cooldown its like 7 seconds which is pretty long for an atacking plant

Sunflower I don't usually explain these updated rankings but I will for this one as this video seems to have a lot more disagreement than the rest: I still maintain Sunflower and Peashooter are the two best, especially with the new system that requires the worlds to be completed before moving onto the next one, as it's much harder to obtain upgrades (especially the Sunflower, I still maintain she's the second best free producer after Primal, and Peashooter is benefitted by his low sun cost and powerful plant food, although is somewhat outclassed by Fire Pea). Wall-Nut however has fallen down because I don't find defensive plants as vital anymore (still really good though). Dusk Lobber is higher up because I massively underestimated him and I was tempted to put Shadow-Shroom lower because he is somewhat outclassed by Goo Peashooter but didn't because of his Plant Food.

Here for yet another ranking. This was a tough one. 12. Potato Mine: This is very hard to justify using over another instant kill. It has the niche of killing early zombies, it is useful for killing single early zombies early on in a round and its plant food is actually pretty good but there are other alternatives for that niche. There is stall and slowing plants that can be used as well. The arming time is just annoying. 11. Cabbage-pult-This is ranked higher than peashooter because its main attack deals more damage than peashooter. 10. Wall-nut-Pretty good at holding back zombies for a while but faces a lot of competition. When Primal Wall-nut is unlocked, this becomes redundant. 9. Grimrose-The so-called landbound tangle kelp is superior to tangle kelp. But I find it very hard to justify using. There are some enemies that can survive a standard instant kill but can’t survive this, such as Sunday edition, the brickheads and Jurassic rockpuncher. It can’t drag down mechanised zombies, gargantuars or airborne zombies, airborne zombies are completely unaffected. Mechanical zombies and gargs take damage instead. Its plant food effect is also pretty bad. 8. Peashooter-A good, cheap offensive plan for the earlier players. There are obviously better choices when you get more powerful plants later on. 7. Sunflower-A very important plant early on for obvious reasons. It faces competition with other sun producers. 6. Escape Root-A unique plant that is somewhat hard to use but also pretty good. It takes time to arm like a potato mine but when it is armed, when a zombie steps on it, it transforms into a random explosive plant. It can also switch positions with another plant as well. 5. Shadow Shroom-Pretty good considering it ignores armour. Its plant food effect is amazing. However, it faces competition with all instant-kills. 4. Nightshade-This is a single-target heavy damage plant. Sure, it is dependent on Moonflower or Gloom Vine but it still does some heavy damage. It’s plant food effect is surprisingly good and when it this level 8, it can kill a gargantuar that is not a Jurassic or gladiator, provided the gargantuar is at level 1 and the projectile is not stopped by another zombie such as its imp. Plus, its plant food effect allows it to throw three ranged leaves even when unboosted and gets a small but permanent boost afterwards. 3. Shrinking Violet-This shrinks all zombies in a 3x3 area, making them take extra damage. Some zombies are shrunk into oblivion. This can be potentially devastating for the zombies. Its plant food effect is really good as well. 2. Moonflower-A quintessential plant for any shadow team, moonflower is a great asset. She fuels the shadow plants and is a good sun producer. It is more difficult to set up than most sun producers but once you get it going, you will have a smile on your face. 1. Dusk Lobber-An incredible lobber, it is comparable to pepper-pult, which is a good plant and would have been incredible if only it reloaded faster. While pepper-pult has better single target damage, Dusk lobber has better splash damage, even when unboosted. When boosted, she deals incredible splash damage. One row of dusk lobber equals splash damage galore.

My other list Modern Day plants Dislike 5th: Shadow Shroom: kinda useless to me, I barely use it after most MD levels, it may be useful against fully armoured basic zombies, but I still don't use it Meh 4th: Nightshade: bad without moonflower but strong attack, useful In MD endless but useless in other worlds 3rd: Moonflower: terrible plant food ability, good when surrounding Shadow plants, but I never use it that much Like 2nd: Dusk Lobber: very good with moonflower, but it's slow recharge is kinda bad, and I rather use melon pults instead for faster recharge and extra damage 1st: Grimrose: better version of tangle kelp, powered version gives it 3 zombie takedowns and plant food is actually good (sorry GVNS), it isn't as good as the tutorial plants because of it's slow recharge

Fun Fact: Sunflower in Pvz 2 gives around 1.5 more sun per unit of time compared to Pvz 1. It gives twice as much sun at a time, but at around a 33% slower rate. In Pvz 1, it's 25 sun per 24 seconds, but in 2, it's 50 sun per 34 seconds.

Actually I've almost never used any of the defensive nuts, in both PVZ 1 and 2. Maybe in the second part where you had to protect some endangered plants. I never found them that useful, the rest of my plants would usually kill the zombies fairly quickly And when i used something, it was the infi nut

In PVZ1, what makes Tall-Nut and Pumpkin worthwhile is that in most of the gamemodes where you really want a defensive plant to protect some valuable attackers (I.e., Survival and Survival: Hard), you will have enough sun that the Tall-nut and Pumpkin's cost won't be nearly as big a deal, and their benefits of way more health and stopping Pogos and Pole Vaulters for the Tall-nut and not taking up space for the Pumpkin (which makes the one melee plant in the game, the Gloom Shroom, absolutely insane.)

I have used moonflower alot and my strategy with them has gotten drastically better. At first I went with two columns at the back with moonflowers then the third column is nightshades. This strategy is basic, and is the first thing most would think of. I went on to try one column of moonflowers with nightshades right infront of each moonflower. The reasoning for this was that the shadow plants are cheap so I don't need much sun to buy them, and it would be much faster the two columns of moonflowers. Now is when I figure out the good strategies. Five moonflowers in a top to bottom zigzag shape between columns one and two. This one allows ten powered shadow plants instead of five while being the same in all other fronts. This when I realized that after placing the fourth moonflower I am either really close to having 200 sun or already have 200 sun, so my new strategy was to start putting down dusklobbers early in order to combat the slow recharge rate. The strategy is just put down a dusklobber after the fourth moonflower. Now it is time for my current strategy which I think is really good. Same as the last strat but, instead of the zig zag being between columns one and two it is between columns two and three. This allows me to place fifteen dusklobbers without the need for extra moonflowers. This is the best strat I can think of. If anyone knows a way to make this even better please tell me because moonflowers are very strategic plants to use, and I would like to see a the best possible way to use moonflowers.

I feel like this particular world has the most potential discussion around it so here's my ranking. Tier D (Mediocre) Grimrose (I personally didn't find it too reliable) Nightshade (I can kind of see the appeal of it but its basically just the modern-day equivalent to Peashooter) Peashooter (Outclassed by every pea that isn't the Pea Pod) Potato Mine (I think I'm becoming a broken record) Shadow Shroom (Yep, I certainly am a broken record) Tier C (Decent) Sunflower (Very helpful but I personally prefer Sun Shrooms and Primal Sunflowers) Wall Nut (Obviously Primal Walnut outclasses it but I believe that before you unlock it, the Infi Nut is better because of its Plant Food effect) Tier B (Good) Moonflower (It makes shadow plants not useless and produces a ton of sun later in the game but can still be kinda difficult to start levels with) Tier A (Great) Dusk Lobber (Even if it isn't shadowed it's pretty decent but when it's shadowed it becomes a stupidly powerful version of the Threepeater)

Modern Day Plants Tier List Note : I consider myself as when would I use these plants and how I compare them to others in particular. 9. Nightshade I found a hard time using this plant, it's like when you have yourself the Dusk Lober, just use it, the permanent PF effect is good for dealing damage tho since it takes out a Buckethead with 3 shots, but still no moonflower and it's pretty useless. There are many basic damaging plant that have better combinations. 8. Moon Flower Use 2 and you can boost you shadow plants, you'll need to stack this plant to actually make it go to the full potential. The PF effect is bad, and you'll by a 2x2 grid will to make it super useful, but having 2x2 grid of Primal sunflower is easier. 7. Potato Mine Any PvZ 1 player knows to plant as many sunflowers as possible and always kill the first zombie using a potato mine, I only use it when boosted due to the Primal Potato Mine is here. It's lower on the list because a Primal potato mine is 4x faster at arming time and deals a Cherry Bomb effect for half price, and leveled up it explodes more than 3x3 radius. 6. Grim rose A non splash damage Potato Mine that hit 3 zombies for half price, I still rather use classic Potato Mine considering many situation, the PF effect isn't that great and it take a while to make another hit. 5. Wall Nut Basically one of the better classic defense plants in the game, it's only 2nd place to the Primal version, it can stall zombies to stack, until a potato mine is ready to "Spudowww" them. 4. Peashooter Basic damaging pant with decent PF effect, it's great when boosted, but I still rather go with Primal Peashooter than this since there's the blover combo. 3. Dusk Lober Deals high damage with Moon Flower boost, it's a cheaper Melon-Pult, early stage I will definitely pick this, but long term level, like 3-4 waves level, I still consider my self to pick Melon-Pult since the damage is higher and the more zombies are on the field, the better Melon-Pult's PF effect 2. Sunflower Its only second to Primal Sunflower as a sun producer, always great when boosted, twin sunflower took so much time to recharge, if you use both with boost, the Sunflower will bring more sun due to the recharge time, Sun-Shroom is better when boosted but at normal condition, Sunflower is better. Therefore Primal Sunflower is the only better sun producer in the game, making the classic stand at second place. 1. Shadow-Shroom I usually plant 1 on the back at last stands and just wait for the right time to use the plant food, when they add extra levels, they gave us tougher zombies but Shadow-Shroom is able to pierce through those zombies. Therefore this is one of those plants I consider using on many situations. My best tip to use this plant is to connect this plant to an Iceberg Lettuce with Tile Turnip, then use a PF so you can have a 300 sun of every zombies getting heavy damage with 15 second of standing still.

This one would be difficult to evaluate the plants for some reasons, so here are my 2 lists this time cause why not ? First one for the basic plants that is at the beginning of the game. 1) Sunflower: Don't underestimate her, she's still a good sun producer for starters. She can now produce 50 sun instead of 25 sun unlike pvz 1 and the plant food effect is good. However, her primal counterpart is better in late game. 2) Potato mine: Good for early defence and cost-effective though his primal counterpart is better. 3) Wall-nut: For starters, yes but for late game, no. He can be outclassed by his primal, tall and future counterparts. 4) Peashooter: Early game, yes even the plant food effect is solid but you may want to replace him with his primal counterpart later on. Another list for shadow plants 1) Dusk lobber: She's pretty strong especially when boosted by moonflower. However, she's prone to parasol zombie and jester zombie. 2) Moonflower: She may be fragile at first but what makes her shine is the shadow aura since she can boost the shadow plants to give more advantage. Despite the slow recharge but if used correctly, she could produce even more sun than sunflower. If only her shield wasn't weak (plant food effect), it would be better. 3) Shadow-shroom: While he's a one-use plant, his skill makes him shine after a zombie nabs him reducing the defence and the health. Watch out for destructive zombies (gargantuar, all-star zombie phase 1, etc) which can destroy him right away. What's more interesting is that you can use intensive carrot to revive him to give him more advantage. Don't forget to boost him via moonflower for extra advantages. 4) Grimrose: He can drag a zombie once, 3 times when boosted. However, he can't do this to gargantuar or any other zombies of high defence rendering him useless. 5) Nightshade: I should've put her in number 4 but because of the cooldown change, she's now number 5. She attacks zombies at closer range yet she can't regenerate her petals without moonflower rendering her useless, so bonk choy is better than her. Modern day level 9 or whatever used to be easy but now it's hard due to slow recharge. Now if I try to merge them in one list, will it look good ? 1) sunflower 2) dusk lobber 3) moonflower 4) shadow-shroom 5) wall-nut 6) potato mine 7) grimrose 8) nightshade 9) peashooter Is it me or don't I like shadow plants that much despite the cute design ?

Tbh the most broken lineup is just to have max stacks pea pod with plant food powered torchwood and pea-nut then to top it all off all plants have a pea vine. Assuming they all shoot at once, including the pea vines on the sun producers, that’s 15 peas at once.12 of which would be passing through a plant food powered torchwood.

Argument for the potato mine: the reason I use it it’s because at the start of each round (of infinite levels at least) the round doesn’t advance unless the first few zombies die, meaning that you can stall the beginning of the round by maintaining the first zombies alive

Potato Mine is quite good. Its main purpose is that it lets you set up your sun-producing plants like Sunflowers or Sun-shrooms without having to place any other attacking plants. It also lets you farm more sun without spending any. A very fun plant, but not that great against stronger zombies. D tier 4. Grimrose. A decent plant against Octos, Newspapers, and Footballs. Can also kill Gargs. C tier 3. Dusk lobber. Best crowd control in the game, this is basically snap dragon but ranged. Absurdly cost efficient. Helped me beat big wave beach day 25 with no plant foods, leveling, movers, or premiums. S tier. 2. Moonflower. Sun production of a twin sunflower, with insane buffs? Sign me up. S tier. 1. Shadow Shroom. Maybe my challenge runs have made me biased, but holy cow, that plant food is a miracle.

I own every moon plant apart from the nocterine and I use a lot of them as my main, I use: shadow pea (lvl7) moonflower (lvl5) conceal mint (lvl4) slingpea (lvl5) infinut (lvl3) and other mints like spear, bomb, enchant, pepper, and explosive.

Here's what I think of: Nightshade: E tier. It sucks by itself, but luckily it's not F or Z since what it does when it's powered. Potato Mine: S tier, as it can make a powerful explosion, but its only downside is that it has to arm itself, and it's only 25 sun. Moonflower: B tier as it powers shadow plants and can produce sun, and most shadow plants are going to be improved when powered, but its only downside is the amount of sun it can produce (small) but its sun production increases when powered. Dusk Lobber: C tier as it's basically a Cabbage-pult that will lob in 3 lanes if powered. Infi-nut is SS tier because it can heal itself and it can make a force field as a PF effect. Shadow-shroom: B tier, as robotic zombies are immune to the poisoning effect. This is good when you don't have enough sun for offensive plants, but its weakness is robotic zombies from Far Future (and some in Modern Day) Grimrose: C tier because it's basically a Tangle Kelp that can reach zombies without having the zombies to touch it and it can drag 3 zombies when it's powered. It's still a Tangle Kelp on the inside. Peashooter: E tier as the more offensive plants you have it seems like a joke to you. Literally this is me, I use other plants as I have more offensive plants. Sunflower: B tier because it's a sun plant that is outclassed by Twin Sunflower, its Primal version, and Sun-shroom but it's still pretty important.

Honestly. Although I do like the sunflower & primal sunflower more, if you can get 10 moonflowers, your sun production is insanely high & sun will literally not be an issue again. I mean, I was able to get to the 9990 sun limit in a regular old level. But, what holds the moonflower back for me in my opinion is setting it up. She has a quite slow recharge time and you need multiple to get a proper start and that with a slow recharge is a lot more annoying to do. You need to stall the early game a lot in order to be able to set up your moonflowers and actually get the high sun amount. Once you do set up, it's gg. Sun will literally not be an issue anymore, at all. Edit : In my opinion she shouldn't be top 5, but shouldn't be 2nd last either.

Here is my rank from worst to best MD plants.(opinion) 9. Grim rose: It's pretty cheap and defeats the toughest zombie in it's lane. When powered, it will kill 3 zombies in it lane. Plant food sucks and targeting is poory executed as an imp could be close to your house but she will target an Octo zombie further back. Also try to constantly target a garg with fail. 8. Potato mine: Out played by primal counter part. 7. Shadow shroom: Poison the zombie that ate him. Ignore armor and have an amazing pf effect. Must be eaten though and can't poison gargs without pf. Powered will make his poison effect spread that barley works. 6. Peashooter: Out played by other counter parts. 5. Wall nut: Out played buy primal counter part. 4. Sunflower: Out played by other counter parts. 3. Night shade: High dmg, low cost attacker. Have limited range and only attack 3 times. When powered, he get range capabilities and regrow leaves. Pf effect makes his shots more powerful. 2. Dusk lobber: Have a middle ground cost. Deal splash and when powered, she shoots in 3 lanes. Pf effect is pretty good. 1. Moon flower: The power house of the shadow plants. Produces more sun the more shadow plants powered (including herself). Pf is pretty bad and non powered produce 25 sun. That's my list MD plants from worst to best.

I always use shadow shroom because it's like a primal potato mine but better. And has an overpowered ability. And inf nut is op against fisherman. Grimrose is good for big wave beach too. Moonflower is better than sunflower too. It costs 50 sun but if you add 4 together, it produces 100 sun plant produce getting some VALUE. And I use it with grimrose because I get massive sun and 3 insta kos

Wallnut| in no way is he absolutely horrible, just kinda outclassed by infi nut but he's in the 6th world now, so he's still great, just never found a perfect use(apart from bonk choy). 6. Potato mine | a good one shot that only costs 25 and can take out most strong non-robot zombies. 5.shadow shroom | ignores amour and can be used on gargs? That's a deal! Just an upgrade from the chili bean. 4. Peashooter | he's a good attacker and simply spammable. Too bad that other plants can get this plant down but underrated. 3. Grimrose| an A tier one shot that acts like a squash, but can be powered. 2. Dusk Lobber| Already the best lobbed plant in the game. Power it and its practically as easy as subbing to his channel. My opinion on modern day plant: 5: night-shade It is only decent when paired with moonflower but otherwise it is just pure trash. Also its PF power is somewhat okay imo. 4:shadow-plant It is very good at dealing with high health zombie but it can only damaging one zombie which makes its only good in the early round. Its plant food power is somewhat decent but I dont think it can hit all the zombie if there are many of them (or maybe I'm just blind) If only the primal potato mines didnt exist then this plant would get higher on the list than what it is now. 3:grimrose This plant is good at what it does and can drag up to 3 zombies if powered up with moonflower. The only problem is that its PF effect, it's only drag one zombie down and renew the plant itself so it only worth it when using near the moonflower otherwise it is a waste of PF imo. 2:dusk lobber This plant is decent on it's own but with moonflower, it is very op. When powering up, it is basically a three peater with splash damage which makes it perfect at crowd control. Its shear power comes in number. The PF effect is good clean up for big swarm of zombies but it is kinda rng base imo. 1:moonflower Just by planting them in a 2x2 area, you basically got 4 twin sunflowers right of the back for just 200 suns and any moonflower you placed after that is basically a primal sunflower. The only thing that this tower suffer is that it has the worst PF effect in the entire game and it is also not a good idea to use in some certain objective level like, place no more than X plants. Imo, this is one of the best sun producing plant in pvz2 EDIT: the 4th place is shadow-shroom, my bad.

At level 1, Nightshade's plant food effect allows it to throw three leaves at range, each dealing 600 dps of damage. It does a total of 1800 dps of damage and for its plant food, if nightshade is boosted or not doesn't matter. For a shadow wizard, it took a while for me to figure that out.

2 reasons why potato mine is actually a good plant 1. it saves sun - If you want to kill that 1 zombie while getting sun, stunion-Potato mine/Iceburg lettuce-Potato mine is a good trick to use you can place stunion/iceburg lettuce on the 4 row on any lane (Where the zombie is) and place potato mine on the 3rd row (Giving it more time.) this way more sun can be saved and you can get more expensive plants (This tactic can be used before getting primal potato mine) 2. it's plantfood saves some time. - planting a potato mine (Or most insta kill plants) multiplies them, because potato mine is cheap, It can hit up to 3 zombies (Or more than 3 if they're all grouped up)

Can't use normally because it's premuim, threepeater? 3.5 times more expensive, split pea? useless most of the time, pea pod? uses up too much sun to get all 5 heads, fire peashooter? costs 100 gems which are hard to find normally and most battles tournaments suck, primal peashooter? 1.5 times more expensive, electric peashooter? sucks, pea nut? also a gem plant, appease mint? mostly banned from story mode, shadow peashooter? needs 250 seed packs to unlock, goo peashooter? same as shadow pea, sling pea? considered more of a lobbing plant, snap pea? confusing to use because it's random what it's truely gonna do, Gatling pea? only in the Chinese version.

I find big wave beach easier than modern day (currently on modern day) probably because every first time playing a level any portal that will pop up is unexpected. So you have to replay to devise a plan,which is time consuming. And since i'm lazy i don't have any energy to play the game. In big wave beach all i did was use infini nut and snap dragon and it was basically a guaranteed win if you make it till final wave. But for modern day everything is unexpected and even if the portals disappear the newspaper zombie is still a big problem.

Aight here’s my list: 9. Grimrose - I really didn’t like this one... it insta kills one zombie and then dies. Other plants such as potato mine, cherry bomb, and primal potato mine are just a much better choice. 8. Nightshade - Nightshade is absolute garbage without moonflower and I personally never use moon flower because it takes up a space on my lawn and does almost nothing. 7. Moonflower - This plant never really had a reason to exist. The powered night plants aren’t really that good anyway. When you put down this plant she gives 25 sun in a time period which feels like an hour. 6. Potato mine - Potato mine is good but after you unlock other insta kill plants you really have no reason to use this guy... 5. Shadow shroom - This thing is okay when it comes to plant food but on it’s own it’s never a must have. It kills one zombie and does the exact same thing when it’s powered by moonflower. 4. Dusk Lobber - Dusk Lobber is easily the best night plant. That’s not saying much compared to how terrible the other night plants are but, dusk Lobber is still a good option when paired with moonflower 3. Wall-nut - wall nut is a great plant when it comes to defense. Tall nut is too expensive, endurian doesn’t last long and in my option the only better defensive plants are infi-nut and primal wall-nut 2. Sunflower - Sunflower is easily the 3rd best sun producer. I personally stopped using it after I got sun-Shroom and that’s why sunflower is second 1. Peashooter - Peashooter is great. Fast recharge, fast firing, decent damage. Peashooter has all you can ask for in a plant.

When I found out about shadow shroom I trashed it and never used it but when I was doing highway to the danger room I knew it would ignore the armor of zombies and it does high damege so I used it

modern day plants ranked from worst to best: Dislike - early plants 9: sunflower - I find it useless mostly because she just makes sun and that's it!!! 8:peashooter - one of the first plants unlocked in the old PvZ (PvZ 1) but shoots peas from a ok distance 7: wall-nut - it said in the alamac entry in PvZ 1 and PvZ 2 "wall-nuts have hard shells which block zombies" I think even though I play the 2 games. Like - shadow plants 5 - Nightshade: better then peashooter,can be powered up by moon-flower and very strong attack. Info: this is because i am going to put 2 plants in number 1. 4: dusk-lobber - lobs projectiles, can be powered up by moon-flower and can't defeat pharoh zombies! Shadow-Shroom - can defeat pharoh zombies without breaking their armor! 2/1: Grimrose and Moon-flower - both are epic plants, great texture AND if combined moon-flower's sun will become good and grimrose's power is amazing! very last shadow plant concerl mint - drag all zombies too there DOOM. Thats my list of plant ranked.

My list: 9. Nightshade Useless, pure useless, sometimes almost as bad as spring bean. The only thing it is good at is handling early game with moonflower, that's it. 8. Wallnut Its just outclassed by chard guard and primal wall nut. 7. Peashooter Its outclassed, but not as much. 6. Potato mine Its also outclassed by its primal version, but it's fucking adorable 5. Grimrose Shame, its awful recharge really holds it back, but its ability is decent mid game. 4. Shadow shroom Its outclassed by goo pea, but its still really good due to it avoiding armor, perfect in early to mid game. 3. Sunflower Its essential but still outclassed. However, your going to use it for a long time. 2. Dusk lobber It's one of the best pults, especially with moonflower. Its really good overall 1. Moonflower Its one of the best sun producers in the game, even without powering shadow plants, it's great.

My list: 9. Peashooter, way outclassed by even cabbage pult since it lobs over graves 8. Sunflower, same as peashooter, way outclassed 7. Gloom shroom, good plant food but moonflower effect is useless, I prefer instant kills 6. Potato mine, good for stalling time at the beginning of a round, but outclassed, higher than the others because primal potato mine is harder to unlock 5. Nightshade, good with moonflower, trash without it 4. Grimrose, good instant kill plant 3. Wallnut, absolutely needed before unlocking primal wallnut 2. Dusk lobber, amazing with moonflower but recharge is kinda slow 1. Moonflower, basically 8 sunflowers when placed in a 2x2 and powers shadows plants, but kinda slow recharge and terrible ultimate

Personally, I would put moon flower as well as dusk lobber much higher. That's due to there very popular usage in battlez, with Moon flower being the primary sun production in battlez, and dusk lobbers being extremly good in battlez.

I find the other shadow plants much better in Arena/Battlez, especially Grimrose - as an Arena battle goes on zombies become more durable and can't be one-shotted by instant kills, but Grimrose gets around that, and is GREAT for All-Stars.

How is peashooter the 2nd best? You(Atleast I) switched it immediatelly with Bloomerang at the 3rd stage of the first world... Then we have things like Threepeater/Repeater/Pea Pod/Red Stinger and you basically never touch the peashooter again. Peashooter in theory is only good for a cheap defense while build the stronger defense, you know what else does that? Potato Mine, yesa the plant you ranked in 8th plate, except potato mine only costs 25 sun and won't set you back while you are trying to build a proper defense, peashooter's 100 sun will. Furthermore potato mine can be used to kill strong Zombies such as bucketheads or even gargantuars where's you need 4 peashootes(400 sun) just to kill a buckethead before it starts eating them. Sunflower is also massively outclassed by nearly all sun-producing plants, but there's one plant that's a straight up upgrade. Sun-Shroom. You plant Sunflower for 50 and then it makes 50 sun nullifying the price, then it keeps producing 50 sun. You plant Sun-Shroom for 25 and then it makes 25 sun nullifying the price, then it grows and produces 50 sun, and then it grows again and produces 75 sun. Sun-Shroom not only is even in the beginning in terms of sun production due to the fact that those 25 sun it produces at first are to pay it's cost(Just like sunflower's first sun production) but it eventually becomes better when it reaches it's 75 sun production. Heck even if it never reaches the 75 Sun Production it's better than the sunflower cause you can spam them in the beginning due to being half the price of a Sun-Flower. Moonflower also has no place being that low. Yes it has a mediocre sunproduction AT FIRST, but it does reach twin-sunflower levels and MORE IMPORTANTLY, it powers up your shadowplants, aka your dusk-lobber which is hands down THE BEST non-instant damaging plant in the whole game(Only having Wintermelon as competition, ideally you'd pair dusklobber with wintermelon tho)
