That's the only reason why I use enlighten-mint, the sun shrooms instantly grows to full and is like a better version of gold bloom since sun shroom's cooldown is short and the low cost makes up for it.

I disagree with enlight-mint because of how far it can put you at the very start of the game. Have you ever tried to use enlight-mint with sun shrooms? You plant the five of them on the lawn, which is easy to do because of their cost, and use the mint. It instantly grows all of the mushrooms and gives you a ridiculus amount of sun for the early game. Early zombies aren't a problem, either if you use puff shrooms as well, this combination from my experience is just excellent.

@@minorcomet282 i think spear-mints are only helpful in "early-defense" for getting the 3 daily pinatas(the ones u get after completing adventure levels). Cuz as soon as the zombies get damaged or killed, the next zombies are spawned. The early spawning makes the levels STUPIDLY easy; just go to level 1 of said world and plant a spear-mint and watch those spikerocks kill em all! Ok, but this only works for levels without the zombies that go across the spikerocks(like modern day or big wave beach)

The conceal mint is amazing when you have a nightshade-moonflower setup, as the leaves do quite a lot more damage. If you use a plant food on a nightshade while conceal mint is on the board, the damage is just game breaking.

6:11 the only real reason I can see tumble weed being apart of the pea family is because when sent through a torch wood it gets set on fire like normal peas do, tumble weed should be apart of the enforcemint family seeing as how they specialize in melee attacks and that’s basically what tumbleweed does

Re-enforcemint has a knockback and key to many blover strategies. The mint knockback effect can be paired with the blover to clear the board. The mint buff also causes char gaurd to knock back zombies in multiple lanes. Again paired with the blover gives a second chance to clear zombies missed by the initial mint drop.

Nah the enlighten-mint is in my opinion, the second most OP plant in the game, you might be wondering why. It's only really useful for some situations, and those situations are common, and if you use it in that situation, it's basically a win button Gather sun-shrooms on a column (or two), use the enlighten-mint, get your OP plants ready. Keep on re-using enlighten-mint until your sun supply is enough This strategy absolutely gives the homing thisle + powered nightshade strat (and many other ones, this is the one I use so not sure about the others) a completely broken matchup against any zombie waves outside boss battles and hard difficulty Jurrasic Marsh, Big Wave Beach, and Modern Day levels

Gotta say, I think you're selling the Enlightment a little short. Yeah, it's kind of redundant with most sun plants, but it was always a go to on my playthroughs of the late game because it has excellent synergy with the Sun Shrooms. The strat is simple; plant a single row of Sun shrooms, then plant your Enlightment. The effect it gives then causes the Shrooms to all sprout to full within two seconds, and giving you large amounts of extra sun once they do reach full size. And just like that, you have a full row of essentially primal sunflowers in a lot less time, and for a lot less sun, giving you more to plant the rest of your early defenses. Granted, I only really use it during startup, but even so, that combo is so powerful that it almost always ended up being my planting strategy of choice in game.

I feel like a lot of the mints are insane, Wintermelon+winter-mint is pretty stupid and ice pea freezes instantly with the mint acitve. The conceal mint with dusk lobber is stupid. Appease-mint with a treapeater with a blue-fire aka powered torchwoods is just like almost inpearcable if you have enough threepeaters, also bowling bulbs become a bit of a madness when it's activere. Arma-mint is really good. Spear mint gives free spikerocks and laser beans just pierce anything, pokra becomes OP as well(she's OP either way). Bombard mint clears so many zombies. Pepper-mint can kill every chicken on the board and some plants become rediculous. Ail-mint kills the entire boards. Enlightment mint can be usefull in a last stand setup with sun producers as you can buff all of them at the start. Seriously mints in general give so many broken combo's.

I feel enlightenmint is easily in the top 3 exclusively because of its affect with sunshrooms. I also feel enchantmint is up there as it boosts a lot or plants that are great in arena like caulipower and witchhazel. I will rank these mints include the mint that boosts plants with no family like tile turnip, it’s my custom mint. 15: nothingness mint, my custom mint. The only good plant with no mint family is tile turnip and also gold bloom. 14: winter mint, it was a good mint but when they added boingesta I later trashed it as it felt pointless and the winter mint family was bad because of it, winter melon and cold snapdragon can not save it from being in 14 13: appease mint, it’s attack is horrible but because tumbleweed was weardly added to the family put it in 13 12: contain mint, it used to be bad but when daisy chain was added it was better but they had to add draftadoli or the attacking blover was added it was even better, sadly don,t have it but the rest of the plants are bad. And blover doesn,t need contain mint and much better then draftalodi. 11: enforce mint, hard to use but head butter lettuce is just a beast, i swear to god please give headbutter lettuce a tournament. 10: fila mint, I feel like what makes it 10 is the plants in it, at least you have citron and electric pea and electricitea but they arn’t good enough, shame ultramato is in the family shame. 9: spear mint, basically enforce mint but you get pokra and better plants and it’s ability is just good if not the most op but pokra is really the only good plant in the family, it’s just that it has good and average plants, and bloomerang is good for a acient egypt plant 8: enlighten mint, it’s great because of this one plant, sun shroom, easily the second best sun producer in the game, if moon flower was in the family the mint would be in number one but moon flower is already good outside the family because of. 7: conceal mint, moonflower becomes a great sun producer as long as you have enough of them, and also dusk lobber, shadow pea, and gloom vine, why did I unlock murkadamia nut. Not gonna lie The reinforce mint + blover combo was my favorite one since they patched the bean glitch Also, i use infinuts to combo better because having one in each line, because they will generate up to 9 almost indestructible barriers, giving enough time to defend myself, If erasing everything in the lawn wasn’t sufficient, the defense comes back even stronger Also bombardmint combos well, since the zombies stacks in very small places

Reinforce mint is extremely OP using blover when there are dense groups of zombies. If you time it right, the knockback the reinforce mint gives will allow the blover to INSTANTLY ANNIHILATE ANY ZOMBIE ON THE BOARD

Honesty the kaboom mint and cherry bomb and that's all the emergency plants you need. And then the concealmint, enforcemint and fire mint are all good aswell. I think alot of the mints can be used instead of emergency/insta kills. They are rather useful. Well. MOST of them. A fine collection of support plants in my opinion

The fact that Bombard mint was the 1st mint I got, and didn't notice it's value in CRUSHING through levels... I would think that E.A. could make another Mint. I personally would call it *"EnRich-Mint"* . Basically, it's ability would greatly enhance the amount of coins & gems you can get during and after the match in Penny's Pursuit. Also, the use of the Mint in the Arena (although *Battlez* sounded way cooler) would grant the ability to get coins gems, and mints during a match, in addition to what you earn after the match. Or, how about this function instead: it could be used as a Multiplier to the rewards you get at the end of a Match. The higher EnRich-Mint level is, the greater the Multiplier Level becomes. Oh well, it's just a thought

The only enforce-mint plants that use projectiles are Guacodile and Snap-pea after eating a zombie (spits out the head). 10) reinforce-mint: the only power mint that activates the plant food boosts, making it amazing with Pea-nut and blover, even though thst latter isn’t boosted, outclassed otherwise 9) Fila-mint: Reduces the charge time for Citron’s blasts and zaps zombies, but lasts the shortest of all mints 8) Contain-mint: is good with Dazey chain and Draftodil, but decent with other plants in its family. 7) Pepper-Mint: priceless in frostbite caves, and to an extent, Dark Ages, but good to okay elsewhere. 6) Arma-mint: powers projectile lobbers like Cabbage-pult and coconut cannon and fires some shots of his own 5) Appease-mint: powers up plants in their family and fires a few peas in front of them. The peas can be turned into fire balls if used near the left side of Torchwood 4) Conceal-mint: shadow plants are good and the dusk lobber spam strategy is great. Jester Zombies giving you problems? Swap Dusk Lobber for Shadow Peashooter and you’re good. 3) ail-mint: while her offensive capabilities may be lacking, she’s great cos she inflicts poison on zombies, and said poison ignores armor. 2) Bombard-mint: powers up explosive plants and releases some explosions of her own. Great for primal Wal-nut. 1) Spearmint: easily cheeses the last stand levels, Pirate Seas, Wild West, and those infuriatingly annoying Mecha football zombies in Far Future.
