I gotta say I've never gotten so hype for a Tigers game in my life as I did when Carpenter hit that HR off Clase. I'm on the Tigers hype train all the way. Said on the broadcast that was the first homer Clase has allowed on a slider since 2022. Also saw someone say that was the first 3 run HR he's allowed in his career. So the fact Carpenter came through in that moment against Clase is that more special. As for the Royals/Yanks game. Royals just outplayed them. Good defense, good pitching and just enough on offense to get the win. Jazz saying they got "lucky" is funny though. They just got outplayed, defensively and offensively. Wasn't luck at all. This series has been strange though with both Witt jr. and Judge both being complete non factors.
