I’m sure the Dodgers are looking at Korean marketing. It’s called good business sense, that’s why the Dodgers are in the position they are in. Also Kim plays infield whereas Conforto is an outfielder. The Dodgers saw what Ohtani did for the Dodgers/Japanese baseball world. They have made huge amounts of money already so why not bring South Korea onboard. Is Juan Soto going to have the international impact that Ohtani has for the Dodgers, not even close especially for the ridiculous contract the Mets are paying him. Soto is a great hitter but below average fielder, doesn’t steal bases, doesn’t pitch for 770M. This will go down as the single worst contract in baseball. Go Dodger Blue!
