Alola is the region featured in Pokémon Sun/Pokémon Moon versions (as well as Pokémon Ultra Sun/Pokémon Ultra Moon versions). Zygarde is obtainable in Alola and gained two new forms in battle. Those two forms were introduced in Sun/Moon. There are also Zygarde cells and cores (which also were introduced in Sun/Moon) but those cannot enter battle. Zygarde has two exclusive abilities in its 50% and 10% forms, one of which was introduced in Sun/Moon and the other was introduced in Pokémon X/Pokémon Y versions. The Complete form can only have the ability introduced in Sun/Moon. The 50% form was introduced in Kalos (Pokémon X/Y) The 10% and Complete forms were introduced in Pokémon Sun/Moon.

I don't know if a Pokemon Gray would have been a good idea, B/W 2 were excellent in my opinion. Pokemon Z on the other hand would have been great, with X/Y being so "empty" in many ways, I think this generation had a lot of wasted potential overall. :/ I've always been intrigued by the history of the Gold and Silver beta, that fake Professor Oak thing seemed very interesting.

I think he missed the point that all those trademarks are actually good poke hacks from fans disappointed at game freak one way or another. Trademarking the titles gave game freak more leverage in pursuing legal course

Delta emerald was not trademarked by Gamefreak though. It was another guy who did. You would think "Pokémon" would be a good enough buffer, but nope. If you have any color added to it that is not yet trademarked by Gamefreak, it is apparently legal to trademark it. This is why there are so many people trademarking games and colors, they are trying to outsmart gamefreak and wanting to get a title gamefreak wants and possibly sell the trademark. Technically i think the word "Pokémon" should be a proper buffer but sadly it is not.

To answer your question, i kind of wished that Pokemon Green was released as well as a new Blue version alongside Firered and Leafgreen. Better yet, when Yellow came out, it is a pity that the original Team Rocket Trio was not more involved in the game along side the other members of Team Rocket in parts of the story or at least in different parts of the journey progress, like in the anime.

After XY, Game Freak cut their losses and decided to go all in with the gen 1 nostalgia pandering. That's why there were less Alola originals and we got regional variants of Kanto only mons. Considering Game Freak has a couple publishing Companies that have Dollar sings for eyes breathing down their neck, I do not believe they just sat there, and just decided: "Hey, let's just cut content, and resale it as DLC! Like EA and Activision!" Rather, I believe that, those two companies are telling them they have to cut content, and resale it. More profit, and the games (to some extent) last longer. Not to mention that Game Freak is now spilt into 3 teams (internally I mean, they're still 1 company, just 2 teams for other projects, and 1 for Pokemon), so I seriously doubt they came up with that idea, with such an odd decision to make those 2 other teams. It makes no sense.

We needed our Pokemon X and Y 2. X and Y deserved so much more. Personally I have a theory that some of the Mega evolutions we received in ORAS would have been in X and Y 2. It explains why we get Pokemon like Mega Pidgeot, Mega Beedrill Mega Slowbro, and Mega Steelix. Pokemon you can't ordinarily find in Hoenn. Yet all of these new Mega Pokemon could be found in Kalos before the forth Gym. Steelix being a Pokemon you're given in trade. Also, the idea that fire and water were too much of a contrast but fire and leaf were not is funny to me. I think the problem was they didn't want precious Charizard to be challenged.

I thought the reason why they developed Leaf Green in favor of Water Blue was because there was a tsunami that happened around the time of the development of the game and because of that, they didn’t want to make the Pokémon game after water due to the destructive power of the tsunami. I have this false memory that if others share it, suppose it would be the Mandela Effect that Water Blue was released in Japan instead of Leaf Green. Even if you sold it at a far cheaper price than the standard £40, you could only reduce the price by half - or there about - before you stopped making a profit - even though less work would have gone into it - and half the price would be excessive, for the consumer, as they are getting rather less than half of the normal content. It is true enough that playing for only one hour at a time would be healthier, but that does not mean that the game should be shorter, only that players - or their parents if they are young children - should be responsible with how much time they devote to the game each day. At the end of the day Pokemon is an RPG, it is not meant to be completed in one sitting, it is meant to be played for a number of sittings, over an extended period. People should be responsible, and not let playing games get in the way of them living their lives, but that's on them, not the people who make the game. The makers should not have to ruin everything by making it shorter, which - as discussed - would mean they'd have to sell the game cheaper, and for less profit, while losing customers who still feel that they're being charged too much, just because some of their customers are misusing their product. As for people having short attention spans, I doubt this very much. You, yourself, imply that people devote an unhealthy amount of time to video games, this would not be the case if they had a short attention span; were that the case they'd get bored and get on with their lives. Also, consider other forms of entertainment; TV shows, which people binge seasons of, in a single evening, movies, plays, and books, these appeal to people of all ages, worldwide, and all of them require a person's attention for an extended period. If attention spans were short then people would not binge shows, people would stop for a breather during a film's, or a play's interval, and decide to catch the other half of the film, or play, at a later date, and books would only be read if they were published by the chapter. In short, if the games were made shorter, a combination of reduced profit, and customer dissatisfaction, would kill the franchise dead. If they started doing that, I'd give the franchise two years at most before it was buried like so many ET for Atari 2600 cartridges, and forgotten. If every game were like that, the entire industry would be doomed to the same fate, and only the dregs - pay-to-win online games, free-to-play mobile games, and video casinos would be left. Your reasons for this proposal are laudable, but what you are proposing is essentially industrial suicide.

Though your first idea seems very cool, "Calos_Reverse_3/4" is just coming straight out of your mind : as you can see at 6:34 the "real" title is "Calos_ReSerVe_3/4" and not Reverse. That being said, I would have love if something similar as your idea came out, it just seems cool and refreshing. (Disclaimer: Someone could have beaten me to these ideas. I just typed down whatever came to my head. There is a possibility that someone else could’ve thought of them before me and I didn’t realize it. I’m also sharing m ideas and not trying to claim them as my own.) Another possibility for those two mystery Kalos titles is a Xerneas/Zygarde fusion for one and a Yveltal/Zygarde fusion for the other. Or maybe the main legendaries could have been another form of Xerneas and Yveltal. I’m thinking one features a form of Xerneas that has it right after birth, when it has the most life while the other features a form Yveltal right before it is about to lose its life. Or maybe one of the two features a form of Xerneas that absorbs life while the other features a form of Yveltal that gives out life.

When everyone was anticipating Pokémon Z or any XY sequel, I remember a dev leaking that the next Pokémon game would have something to do with flowers, so people thought it would we AZ's Floette. Either this was fake, cancelled, or the flowers were just the hawaiian flower necklaces, but I was very disappointed.

YOOOOO For the missing 4th/4 gen 6 pokemon game beside Z, it was for POKÉMON V FOR VOLCANION!!!!! think about it, V- Volcanion X- Xerneas Y- Yevetal Z- Zygarde Zygarde was going to be the ultimate OP legendary, and Volcanion was gonna be the mythical/ singular unique typing pokemon . But I'm sure GF thought ORAS would make WAAAYY more money, cause ya know... remakes.

Most likely the reason there is two extra gen 6 slots in Pokémon USUM is because X and Y were getting developed during gen 5. Most likely they were going to make X2Y2 if B2W2 did as well or better then BW which it obviously didn't and because SM were released on Pokémon's 20th anniversary it seems the Pokémon company wanted to release something bigger than a revisit to kalos either in a sequel or a third version

I wanted Pokemon Z, I didn't know that they were planning two games. Yet, after you mentioned it, it makes sense. Black 2 and White 2 had a fusion Pokemon; Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon had a fusion Pokemon. I wonder if they were going to have Zygarde fuse with Xerneas and Yveltal. An easy thing to do since Zygarde is made of cells.

7:43 this is when I realised that this was the name for the new pokemon games. Wow. I guess we should get ready for these to be future pokemon titles! Purple might have been renamed as voilet whereas scarlet kept its name.
