There's no goal left for Ash to pursue so there's no reason for him to stay. Resetting him is a bad move and nothing tops the world coronation series

I would say my personal worst are just the ones that received barely any development yet. I feel like Lucca knows a bit more than she's letting on, and Zir and Conia have some personal loyalty to Amethio that I hope gets elaborated on soon.

Liko is actually more alike to Ash in my opinion. In episode 11, Liko approached Dot about having that costume & basically believes Dot is a superfan & doesn't realize Dot is that Social Media that Liko likes. Meanwhile, flashback to Ash meeting Sabrina's father, He believed at first that the guy was a photographer. Yep, those 2 are related by sharing braincells. Edit: Liko is defiantly my favorite by default. I still miss Ash, but I like horizons so far & I'm willing to give it a chance.

Will it happen, I hope. I actually would love to see Ash & Pikachu meet The Rising Volt Tacklers. When the last Protagonist meets the new one. It would be interesting to see, but I'll wait for it. I still wish the anime staff made Ash's end story a little bit longer because there are a lot of loose ends in His story. But like I said, only time will tell.

Just for clarification: Orla's metagross isn't weak. If you go back and watch the episode where it lost against the explorers you'll notice that the scene prior shows that metagross (and some of the other rising volt tacklers, including pokemon on the ship) were very tired from dealing with the reparations of the ship and haven't eaten anything either when the explorers arrived. So they basically had to engage in battle under not so ideal conditions. That's why metagross actually lost. Also something interesting to notice is that Zir is actually a fan of Nidothing just like Liko, and he asked Nidothing for battle tips under the username "muscles of a rhydon" (his signature pokemon. I also like that the name of the explorers are all based on gems: Spinel (which is a type of gem) Amethio - Amethyst Zir and Conia - Zircon. Hamber - Amber.

I think Liko and Roy are pretty good protagonists so far. Definitely agreed with your thoughts on Roy. He's got a pretty interesting goal and a bundle of joy he definitely is. Tho I'm also pretty intrigued by Liko. She shows great potential and as the first female protagonist, I really wanna see what cool things they can do with her. Her pendant looks like it could give her some really good development as the series goes on and it would be cool to see a strong female lead in terms of a battler. Hope Liko keeps getting stronger going forward Also Friede is the goat 🐐

I predict Roy will be the best character by the end of the horizon series. What makes Roy a great character is that he's fun to watch and doesn't need much screen time as Liko to be relevant to the story. Unfortunately, Liko requires alot of screen time just to make herself relevent, else she be overlooked.

The way you said that made Lillie come to my mind. Not really in the anime though since she wasn't the protagonist ( but let's be real in the game she was.) 😂... They made it quite well on what kind of characters Liko & Roy will be and what kind of vibes both give off on normal basis. Neither of them are quite typical when it comes to their interests but I just hope the story just doesn't blindly make them too hollow then they truly are. It's unlikely since it's the beginning but still. That's why I'm looking forward to see how they'll find themselves through fun, sad or bad moments across the Horizons on the Brave Asagi. 👍

I just want to say I’ve loved the latest episodes, helping the forest and the big reveal of something about these Pokemon and the lore with Rayaquaza, and the villains behind them spying, exciting. The episode with the team work of Liko and Roy and there Pokemon, sucks that with there being talking a lot, we don’t know what they are saying till subtitles come out. Love Liko mothers design too. (Just realised the person in the illusion is the same hooded figure in the book, I’m pretty sure) anyways my top favourite characters are Liko, Friede, captain pickachu and Amethio my number one is probably Liko, she funny and sweet. Love this series so much and hype for the future. 💙💚

Liko is by far my favorite so far. At least She has some similarities to Ash. My favorites (in order from my personal view of them greatest to could use a little work on their character)are Friede qauxly spinel dot Orla hatenna coral and Anne Friede is really funny as well as cool Qauxly is best Boi i love how he always swoops his hair and his overall personality is just really funny and cute Spinel is really cool and mysterious and makes me want to know more about him and have a little more content for him Dot and spinel I was torn between their placement I admit I might be a little biased towards spinel but dot is pretty cool as well I like how she’s techy and like the brains of the rising volt tacklers she also reminds me of when I used to think that I was like her (Pokémon horizons wasn’t out yet but I thought I was basically like super techy which is why I said like her) and knew everything about electronics just because I had a computer a pretty old one at that and I used it even though I literally just used it to play roblox and watch KZbin and that was it don’t worry I’ve grown out of that mindset now and looking back on it I feel really embarrassed about it granted I was pretty immature back then so yeah moving on 😅😅 Orlas kinda a wild card for me I just like her idk why Hatenna is really cute and I like how hatenna can sense people’s strong emotions and she gets emotional based on the person’s emotions I can kinda relate with her because I’m kinda emotional not highly but I would say I’m kinda emotional I’ve also been told that I’m emotional and I can see that so I feel like if I had a hatenna I would love it and want to memorize signs that indicate it’s feelings moving on to character side I feel like hatenna has some potential to have a great personality and character I also wish it would battle it kinda makes sense since it’s so fragile that it doesn’t battle but now we’ve seen it use psychic I feel like that could have the potential to become a trump card like ashes pikachus thunderbolt so I really want to see it battle or gain some content other than warning or informing liko about someone’s emotions or intents and just sleeping or eating so that’s why it’s low on my list Coral I kinda gives me youngest child vibes and I can relate to that she’s also not really heard much or given credit and at my school I’m friends with all the girls in my class and my class is pretty big there’s like seventeen children last I knew and the teachers don’t really appreciate talking in class they prefer us to just work quietly understandably so lunchtime is pretty much my time to get my thoughts out and talk to my friends but sometimes I feel like I don’t get heard but it’s fine cause I get to talk to my two best friends at recess and then I get heard so it kinda makes up for it again I’m fine that’s all anyway I kinda relate to coral in those ways she also feels like the stereotypical anime villain girl and I’m not allowed to watch anime not counting the Pokémon anime so it feels kinda special like I’m getting some aspects of an actual anime from this And lastly Anne she’s also kinda a wild card for me Anne is really messy and I’m pretty messy so relate to her in that way but other than that I just like her I also want to see more content for her because she’s just an underwritten character but I feel like she has a little bit of potential to make a good side character If you read this whole thing wow you’re amazing and I totally didn’t expect anyone to read all this since this is basically like a paragraph comment so thank you if you did read this even if you read part of it then came back later to read the rest

Honestly, when I first saw Cap in the posters, I didn’t want him around because I just needed a break from Pikachu in general. In my opinion, Ash’s Pikachu only stuck out when he was in a battle; seeing him show much distinctive personality otherwise felt rare after BW. Cap, on the other hand, at least feels fresh (we’ll see how long that lasts). I know Ash’s Pikachu is iconic, and he deserves to be, but I don’t really care as much that he’s gone as I do about Ash. It’s even harder for me to miss the OG Pikachu when Ikue Ohtani is still on the show (as long as she lives and doesn’t want out, you will never have Pikachu without her).
