We didn’t “grow” by 28 million people. It was just that more people decided to vote in 2020 and 2024 than in 2012 and 2016. You understand that the entire U.S. population doesn’t vote every election…right? The likely explanation is that more people voted in 2020 because they were stuck at home, bored, and had nothing else to do.
