I am very confident that Luigi and Daisy are mutually attracted, mainly because of their figure skating pose. Luigi does not touch his partner except for Daisy (he puts his left hand on her waist). This means Daisy is his special someone. Really hope Daisy will appear in Luigi's Mansion 4 and see how awesome he is.

The problem though is what could they do for her personality since they put all of her traits into Peach? I always preferred Daisy over Peach, but it’s like they turned her into Daisy 2.0 instead of having her have more of a backseat role and then learn. I wish they’d handled Peach in a Mario RPG type of way.

They are meant for each other. Opposites do attract and Nintendo should have not have Mario save Daisy. Luigi should have been and if they did, they would introduce Waluigi very early as the conspirator aiding Wario to conquer Mario’s kingdom and abduct Peach. Luigi and Daisy’s chemistry worked very well!

Mario saves Daisy because, the concept of her being Luigi's love interest was not in their minds yet until Nes Open Tournament golf and the idea was confirmed in 2000 because Nintendo suggested Daisy to Camelot for being a love interest for Luigi, soo, we should not care if Mario saves her in SML, it was Daisy's debut after all and they created her as the "other" Mario love interest at first but they know about Peach and thats why they realized Luigi was there for her and that their personalities are perfect for the other, like a piece of puzzle, Wario would never exist without the first SML, soo Luigi being the main character would have no sense, Waluigi would exist without Wario is weird, Daisy should appear in Luigi's Mansion, it have more sense .

Nowdays the Mario x Daisy ship is dead, eveything was Mareach and Luaisy since 1991, even the awful 1993 live action movie had Luaisy in it, Mario saves her in Super Mario Run because area 30 is like a board, every character have their turn and oviously the main hero is the one that should defeat Bowser, the fact that Daisy dont even kiss him at the end say a lot .

Those two, Luigi and Daisy are perfect for each other. Their chemistry is just real strong, Daisy doesn't get kidnapped often so Luigi got himself a wonderful girl of his own who actually has the major hots for him as much as he does for her. Their personalities actually compliment each other because they spend more time together without the kidnapping complications that Mario and Peach had to deal with constantly because of Bowser. In the couples department, Luigi and Daisy got the gold medal top on that one as the top couple of Mario Bros franchise. The major factor is that Peach always gets kidnapped by Bowser daily and that's complicated for Mario, ouch, that's gotta hurt on that one; lucky for Luigi and Daisy that's not the case at all so they have all the time in the world, so I m giving the gold medal to Luigi and Daisy on that one
