I had a axle snap on me mid corner going about 90. Not fun but wasnt that scared.

I race cadet. Going for the lead of the race, my axle snapped and the axle hit my helmet and now there is a huge gash in the side.

Here's a weird question. Your accident was straight out of the pits on cold tires right? You spun the kart by steering full right, starting at 0 seconds, achieving full lock at 0.18 seconds, and then straighten the wheel, presumably because you feel the kart is going to spin, achieving your goal, after another 0.3 seconds. Would the time between starting to steer and spinning out take longer or less time on fully warmed up tires you think?

It was not a failure, the brake cups were not in the correct position. Press the pedal a few times and it works again
