Crack in time has unskippable cutscenes, the beginning drags on and on. It’s not funny. Idk if it gets better but it’s hard to get into

Crack in Time was also my #1 by far. I’m not going to rate Rift apart over Tools of Destruction or vice versa because Rivet’s parts were far superior to Ratchet’s. I actually would prefer the sequel to be 100% Rivet.

2 will always remain undefeated for me even tho alot of people always say 3. 3 had the most fun weapons, the quark game and neferious ofcourse but it was a serious downgrade against 2. No grindrails, barely multiple paths, little enemy variaty, no races, the arena's way less memorable, and like 3 to 5 planets that are just the multiplayer missions so very repetitive. Still one of the best of the series. The original 3 and deadlocked will always remain undefeated for me but 2 will always be the best in my eyes

Going commando has been my favorite since a kid on the ps2, i had and played all 4 games back then. Just replayed th both recently and its better than UYA imo. Yes 3 has nefarious and a better plot, but the planets were dull(comparitivly) and the enimies lacked variety, 2 was is just more fun imo.

The Original Ratchet & Clank Trilogy (Along with Ratchet:Deadlocked) are my all time top favorites. Oh the precious PS2 memories i have with those games. The Future Trilogy are my second favorites. And Ratchet & Clank:Remake on the PS4 is also really good and also one of my favorites.

My favorite one is the first game. Something about it idk I just love it. The clunkier controls and the enemy placement gave it a little more strategy than the chaos shootemup gameplay in the later games. Plus the humor and the edginess. Ugh perfect.

It has been hard to decide, but between Rift Apart and A Crack In Time, the story in so charming in ACIT, that it gave it the edge in it being my favorite game. The cool recap intro, the setting, the characters, the galaxy "map" with flying the ship around, the lore, the ending. ACIT has it all!

Up your Arsenal is definitely the best Ratchet and Clank game in the series so far. The ship hub was awesome to explore too. Spent so many hours just goofing around and exploring that hub as a kid, customising my ship, etc. Rift Apart was average at best to me, it was pretty to look at but was 100% just a tech demo for the early launch of the PS5 to sell more consoles.

Personal favorite is still Going Commando. A different Galaxy, more weapons, killer soundtrack and I mean especially for testing facility at Dobbo planet. Yes UYA did everything better but it felt more arena and mini tasks focused. Not that I dislike it. Also it felt cheap to bring back blackwater city on planet Rilgar without getting to explore. Instead it's a defend your position mission at the galactic rangers outpost. All three games I had a major blast 100% all gold/titanium/platinum bolts, skill points and trophies. While we were children when RC came out on PS2, we as adults can still go back and relieve it. Ps4 I don't think will age so well. It's for kids, and when they grow up, they will know it was only enjoyable as a kid. And I blame the blasted movie.

Ratchet and Clank was the second game we had on the ps2 (Jak and Daxter being the first) and is a series I revisit once a year. I just love it. That being said, All 4 One is a fantastic game and for me ranks much higher on the list. The visuals and comic interactions between characters are fantastic 😅

The story for Rift Apart is actually pretty solid. It has very high stakes, but it’s easy to follow. The cherry on top is that Emperor Nefarious is one of the coolest villains ever to grace video games. He’s a great balance between being over-the-top, eccentric, and charismatic, but he’s still intimidating and serves as a genuine, credible threat. Once he makes his first appearance, he manages to get the upper hand at almost every turn after and his massive ego was what eventually led to his downfall.

@@Treetops27 that's why i say barely. 2 had alot of exploration options from the start you had like 2 or 3 routes. Only truly memorable multiroute map was daxxx and the spaceport one with the ninjas. It was way more linear then the previous ones

@@kizaruthegreat every level in UYA has multiple paths (except for Rilgar, Aridia, Koros and boss stages obviously). Some paths are inaccessible during certain points in the story. If you've ever played Jak 2/3 it's very similar. Also planets like Rilgar and Aridia are intended to be secret item paths, not full levels. UYA is not structured like the previous games, it's more like an open world game without the open world.

@@Treetops27 also mate, if a path is closed till you progressed far enough it's not multiple paths. Maybe you misunderstood me but i meant with getting a choice at the beginning where to go. If i must 1st do 1 path to then go the next i don't have a choice. It is still one path cause you have to follow a specific route. Either replay them all or watch the vid i send and you will see the downgrade of it in many perspectives. People usually forget about it cause it had multiplayer and didn't think about anything else anymore

Into the next is an extremely underrated game! It’s my second favourite game for the ps3 after a crack in time. Nothing will ever top the original ps2 trilogy however but the future saga comes close second!

I started with the 2016 games and it was great!!!! ( recommended - very good gameplay, very nice weapons and very good story. graphics is great worth the money ) i will buy the next one when i will upgrade my PS4 the only thing i would recommend is adding an option to multiplayer

For me personally I'd would probably rank the games that I've played as follows; #1: Going Commando #2: Up Your Arsenal #3 & 4: A Crack in Time or 2016 in whichever order (the latter strictly because of gameplay, as I dislike elements of the story like others do) #5 & 6: Deadlocked or Into The Nexus in whichever order (the former mostly because of nostalgia, the latter because of the atmosphere) #7: Tools of Destruction #8: Ratchet & Clank (hasn't aged nearly as well - and doesn't have as much replay value - as Going Commando and Up Your Arsenal imo) #9: All 4 One #10: Full Frontal Assault Enjoyed all of them, ngl. I haven't played Size Matters, Secret Agent Clank, Quest For Booty, or Rift Apart yet so I obviously cannot comment on those for now. :P

I remember getting quest for booty on Christmas in 2011. Legit finished the whole thing in like 1hr and 30 😂. Was so disappointed realising it was that short.

The Ratchet games are great. I really want them to conclude the plot threads that started the Future saga. When Rift Apart was announced, I was hoping we'd find Talwyn's dad, Max, but that plot thread has been hanging for 15 years now.

It’s good know that people consider Rift Apart a top 3 R&C game. I haven’t had the chance to get a PS5 yet so It’s gonna be exciting when I eventually get one. I feel like the last great R&C game for me was A Crack In Time, so I’d like to play an entry that lives up that or the likes of R&C 2 or 3.
