I still think Starfruit is really good, just all those above it are better (Snow Pea since his buff is pretty insane, Apple Mortar is basically infinite stall, Solar Tomato is great in Arena or levels with bucketloads of zombies, etc.)

sap-fling is actually really good, it gives you TWICE the time to build up sun AND attack zombies. Seriously, it's really good at 75 sun. I prefer stalling over firepower, because it not only buys time to attack zombies, but also to build up sun production. And it's cheaper too. Firepower just looks cooler.

I personally own the wasabi whip, it’s one of my only premium plants (the other being apple mortar) and I don’t think it’s the best premium plant, goldbloom’s sheer utility is insane and thus I think it should be first, people who have wasabi whip definitely don’t always use it, but people with goldbloom basically always use it, sometimes even imitate it Edit: just leaving a note here to say I actually use the apple mortar more than the wasabi whip

Yes, definitely, I basically never use the wasabi whip (pokra hugely outclasses) even though it's actually quite decent with very high dps but basically always bring gold bloom(imitated if I have space) because it's faster to get strategies complete

People honestly overrate gold bloom. Gold bloom isnt even good, it gives a burst of around 300 sun for around 80 second recharge time. Why not use enlightenmint when it is basically the same cooldown, max growth sun shrooms and is free?

Extra plant food is always useful, especially in arena, and a plant which can give it to you once in a minute for 175 sun is a much better investment than just an upgraded bonk choy. Also, pokra is much better than wasabi whip, and you don't even have to spend money to get her...

Explode o Nut is way too low. In Penny's Pursuit/Arena mode, you essentially have a 50 Cost Cherry Bomb with a FAST recharge, he is extremely spammable and cares not for horses, Explode o Nut is king

Explode o vine outclasses explode o nut. Same cooldown, allows for you to put plants on top of it and explodes twice for a mere 100 sun more (lvl 1)

Wasabi whip isn’t that good of a plant in my opinion, the extra damage is because it has a slower dps rate than bonk choy, it only has 15 extra damage. I’d rather use a pokra with a pyre vine because pokra can kill an infinite amount of Buckethead zombies

Some people disagree with Caulipower being low, I completely understand and agree. Even though it has the godlike power of hypnotizing a gargantuar, it costs a lot of sun and has a very slow recharge at lvl 1.

Also about the snow pea. I’m pretty sure when you use it the lane gets frozen for a period of time, chilling zombies in that lane When he chills the lane, he basically kills almost all normal zombies and cone heads in that lane with the *p spam*, so they won’t get the chilled lane effect, and if they don’t die, the chilled effect won’t matter cuz the chilled effect will probably be gone after the lane unfreezes

Really good video even though I disagree on the number one spot and the plant food premium. I've tried single lane close range high dmg troops but they get overwhelmed easily if they do dmg to multiple plants and being that zombies are coming at them with speed u need something to separate the zombies like a shell or slow cough cough there's a plant that does all of this which by you're metrics would make it to SS tier which honestly I would kinda agree on cuz she's op.

I'd personally put the starfruit a bit higher because I've swept arena matches with high mastery starfruit and appease-mint because the amount of projectiles on screen from 2-3 rows of them can overwhelm the zombies quickly and the mint just gets extra damage. I've even gotten into the millions once or twice with them. Apple mortar is extremely good I'd agree, I'd put wasabi whip lower, while it has insanely good dps it's outclassed by pokra and even Pyro vine. It's fun to use once in a while but still not amazing

My List: (Note: I'm ranking these plants mostly on the adventure because I think arena was added after Solar Tomato) 19. No (Aloe) (.....) 18. Electric Panis (.....) 17. Fruit Ninja (Bombegranet) (Seeds are NOT worth it) 16. Dandelion (WEAK. His blover thing does not help him either) 15. Starfruit (Just sorta Meh) 14. Apple Mortar (Has good stunning but that is about it) 13. Explodo-Nut (Side Graded Cherry Bomb) 12. Wasabi Whip (Pokra but worse however is good in adventure) 11. Solar Tomato (Decent plant for late game stalling and can be useful if there is LOADS of chickens to get your melons set up early) 10. Snow Pea (Ever since it's buff, I will agree it costing money is worth it, but is not powerful enough. Still great though) 9. Kiwibeast (Actually really useful. If you beat this game using only fruits) 8. Imitater (Amazing plant to use such as squashes, PPMs and Gold Bloom) 7. Jalapeno (Killing a lane of zombies is useful. So, since the video is about PVZ2. Which progression system did you have? 1. There are those who've received the keys for every world at once and unlocked every world at once. 2. There are those who've received a key for beating the gargantaur stage to unlock any one of another world. 3. There are those who've had to play the game world by world and only got the key to the next world by beating zomboss. That's because there were updates that changed the progression in the game, my progression system was #3.

Snow Pea is very powerful in higher levels because it can freeze zombies for a really long time - they ALMOST can't move. But it sucks at level 1. Well, it doesn't "suck", but it's just not worth the money.

I bought snow pea before everybody hated it. Right now, mine is level 3 which is around when it starts to develop chance to freeze and area of effect. This basically turns it into a cheaper and less effective winter melon (and is very spammable). The damage is atrocious but with two columns and a decent DPS dealer, gargantuars usually struggle to get past the second tile on the lawn

@@freakywu2 Yeah its aoe may be garbage but against one strong zombie, two of them are enough to permastall and is arguably one of the best supports in the game, sure f pea still outclasses in damage and with the napalm pea ability and the plant food ability is definitely better than snow pea's weaker peashooter plant food ability and e pea absolutely stomps snow pea BUT those two lack the power of stalling and snow pea was born for that thus making it a better staller than the two. I don't really know why people hate snow pea, its a great staller because of frost ability to chill zombies, it's design is so good too.

Maybe hold off on the arena seediums until puffball comes out, as its a cherry bomb upgrade and its pretty broken in terms of both power and utility Also, gold bloom is op. Although maybe I'm just saying that after using ultomato too much.

Once the leveling system became part of the equation, it was a beast. Forget hurrikale, because puffball just freezes them in their tracks for long enough to be finished off by another plant. Its quite exhilarating to think that this game is just getting more and more brokenly fun after ultomato became a thing.
