Yup I agree: bring along TPU, tire levers, and a patch kit even if you ride tubeless! I've needed them on my tubeless kit. Other kit I bring that you didn't cover for long trips: - A slim torque wrench that's labelled Katana TR-1. I tested mine against my tech's calibrated wrench and it -10% off calibrated, but it's more than good enough. A requirement to do any work on my all-carbon bike since I don't work on it often enough to have the feel of what torque is what. - A Lezyne Gauge Drive HV hand pump with built in pressure mini gauge. Helps when re-seating tires to have the innertube a little filled (though I guess you can just use your lungs to do that). The integrated pressure gauge is not that accurate, but for something this small and light it's good enough. Very useful for me since my tires live about 4 days before they need a top up to stay in the goldilocks zone. For any other breakdowns, I consider my ride over and don't bring the tools myself. My bike is so "high tech" that I don't want to do the repairs myself, if I wanted a bike I could do field repairs I'd have gotten a simpler touring bike.

I carry a pump with me as well, but I didn't include it in this video. Mainly because the pump I wanted to feature, I have lost 😭 No Idea how I managed to do that. Taking a mini torque tool is something I've been considering but havn't gone down that path yet.

the solution is to ride E MTBs . if you have enough power you can carry a ton of tools . my rear rack pack has about 15 lbs of tools spare tubes clothing , locks etc . i could break down entirely and rebuild my bike if need be . well not quite 😂

Hello Paul: Are you the Paul from Paul Bicycle Components? WERA and PB Swiss Tools and Victorinox are good too.

I am not that Paul. His stuff is cool. I only own one tiny thing from Paul components though. I'm a fan of Wear, Knipex and Abby bike tools for the shop. I'll post a video about that soon.
