Welcome to Hockey, the best sport with the best athletes (in my opinion). The Chicago Blackhawks do a wonderful job with the First Shift series and you'll learn a lot about the game, the team and the operations that make it all come together. The more you watch, you will love the game even more.

It's truly an exciting time and the ones who recognize the rebuild and stick with it, the reward will be awesome. Going to the game on Thursday, my son will play earlier in the day for Pucks for Autism. It's always nice to be in the UC.
@wendycoupar94058 ай бұрын
These boys have nothing to do with that. It was bad, very bad but I will not hold that over any of the players as most anyone involved are now gone. I'm sure that the Blackhawk's aren't the only one that has black marks in their history. Just to be very clear, I do not condone the behavior of the top brass (at the time) for the damage they did to Beach. It was sick and wrong.

Can’t believe we made it onto this episode! My kids were the ones holding the sign “Bedards Broken Jaw Broke Our Hearts” @ 20:15. Drove from North Ontario on Wednesday and had to move a mountain to make the postponed game work out! It was their first NHL game! Our next trip will be to Chicago to see our favorite team!

Awesome and sad at the same time. Im an adult and feel the same. Hopefully your next trip will include a goal (or two or three) from Bedard and the Hawks win in a thriller!

@@J-M-E they wanted to see Bedard so bad, but had a blast watching the whole team. The Sabre’s fans were great with the kids too. A few fun chirps here and there and a fun memory. Chicago is almost 9 hours from us, but our next game will be there!

It will be pretty cool to look back as they progress through the rebuild. Building anything worthwhile takes pain and sacrifice. Ups and downs are part of the growth. Great video work Tommy!

The NHL & hockey overall has changed quite a bit & the contact of the fast sport & i think Nick’s dad Mike Foligno whom i watched as a young kid when Mike played for the Toronto Maple Leafs. I don’t agree with this oh you can’t touch our star player B.S. I’m not saying a free for all but geez man what are you suppose to do when a star player is coming at you Etc?! Oh ok come on through i can’t touch you so here you go?! The opposing teams players are paid to score & defend not to cater & play figure skater or balarena, they have a job to do & if that kid is coming across the trolly tracks with his head down or admiring a pass & hits a brick wall like Scott Stevens did back in the day, ask Eric Lindros & Paul Karyia about it. Cheers From🍁 🇨🇦

The team is bad absolutely, but if you watch a lot have serious potential if they are given time to develop. and you have to remember most of our front end is out, particularly Bedsy and Hall, and we haven’t completely collapsed, honestly I think a lot of “good” teams, cough cough Toronto, would be playing worse then the hawks are now if their top 2 forwards were out. It’s important to remember what rebuilding means, even losses can be huge for a team this young.
