I play a short course every weekend with my wife and really enjoy the focus on approach and short game clubs. We call them executive courses in the US. The course I play is a mix of par 3's and 4's, the longest being 350/360 from the back tees. Good times!

Excellent round James! I’m a 15 handicap player too, and I’m enjoying watching your rounds. I just played a par 3 12 hole course the other day and shot a 41. It made me feel really good, my coach told me those are the glimpses of the player we will become! Congratulations!

Great score James. Pleased for you. I played at a long par 3 course for a few years and you've still got to get up and down to score well. Fully agree with you that courses like this are great for your short game. Love to watch your macho free golf which most golfers can equate to. Great to see the thumb going up on most holes 👍

Great channel, New subscriber here. I like watching "real" golf - Love the shorter yardages of this course. As a senior I can not hit it like I used to. Also - I am amazed at how well - and often - you use your sand wedge! You are also a really good putter - take your time don't be in a hurry to get to the next hole. Focus and make that putt! Great round there James! It was only a short course but that does not make it any easier! The greens looked tricky with lots of slopes and borrows, so you actually putted really well. Was only a couple of moments of lack of concentration on the short putts but other than that brilliant. Short game is very steady to. Think it may be time to upgrade your irons to a decent set of cavity backed irons, as I think that will push you on to the next level with a bit more distance as forgiveness. I have the cobra f8's and play off 18 (old handicap system) and they are brilliant for me. Keep up the good work Mark

Very slow greens there James. Like putting on Ryvita. You're contact with the ball when chipping just gets better and better and you commit right through the ball. Keep it going, summers coming and those scores will improve massively 👍⛳🏌️‍♂️

Well done James. Even though it was a short course, you still have to shoot the scores, which you did. As someone else commented, it looked like putting on ryvita, and there were at least 2 suspect bobbles costing you a couple of putts, so your score could have been even lower. As I say, well done

I see that you set it up from various different angles and it captures your shot well! Probably a stupid Q but if I used this hitting into my net in the back garden, can it estimate ball flight?

Well done on a good score James! Your pace distance putting is really good and you have such confidence with the long putts - wish I got it as close on a regular basis as you do! The greens didn't look amazing either so well done. Not heard of that course before so might trying at some point. What would regard as your 'home course' James? I'm guessing you live in North Wales somewhere as most of the courses you play are around there.

175 yards with the hybrid was the target but unfortunately it popped up losing some distance. The tee was slightly elevated too so just wanted the ball in play from the 1st shot. THanks for watching
