I'm from jersey, and I've been a dolphins fan all my life, so when my teacher told me he went to high school and college with him it was so cool that a guy who grew up just 20 minutes away from me is in the NFL and playing for my team is just awesome! He's gonna be even greater than he is now!

A Dolphins fan from Jersey? How is that even possible? lol

Its so ironic you bring that up. Matt Breida went to Nature Coast Technical HS 3 years after me. He is very excited to be a part of the Miami Dolphins. He was a beast as one could imagine. I've always thought if given the chance Matt will do whatever it takes to succeed. Matt was top 10 in Heisman voting and he went to Ga State University!! Unbelievable lower body which explains his 40 time and Vert..Phins up!!

I remember playing football in the front yard next door with Jameis Winston 11 years ago in Hueytown Alabama... His family still stays a couple houses down too

I had a similar situation. Im loosely acquainted with Akeem Spence. We grew up in the same town and shared some mutual friends. We even played a game of two hand touch at the lil peewee fb field here in town once. It was cool that he signed with miami for those two seasons.

I'm so glad to see him finally settle in and being used correctly within the scheme. Hes an absolute beast and I believe he's poised to be the highest paid tight end eventually. I was amazed by what I saw out of him at Penn state and was elated when the dolphins took him.

Well he's a twig by TE standards... They can't all be Gronkzilla!
@ghosttowntomato4 жыл бұрын
...a “twig”? Mike is 6’6 and 250 pounds...he is definitely not a twig by any standards, TE or otherwise. He is just absolutely all muscle- so he may seem skinny; meanwhile, he broke records at the combine for strength and agility. So, please. Before belittling his height, weight, or ability to block, just try to appreciate his ability to catch that dang ball almost every time. Maybe we just need to accept and utilize him for his God-given strengths, rather than keep forcibly jamming his puzzle piece into a slot that simply doesn’t fit.
@lomarsweed66044 жыл бұрын
@@ghosttowntomato I never knocked him for his athletic profile, he just looks, in pads, on the slight side for his position. If not, then so be it, he needs to improve his blocking if he wants to be considered a complete TE, and not just a toy to trot out on passing downs.
