Tekton just announced the new compact 3/8 ratchets. It is basically the 6" 1/4" ratchets (fixed/flex) with a 3/8" internal swap. Same trick that Koken did.

I run Snap On exclusively only because I have amazing support. But if it wasn’t for that I’d be grabbing Tekton a lot more than I do. I have Tekton tools but no ratchets.

For the flex head ratchets you can actually really easily remove the locking mechanism, for whoever doesnt want it

10000% they are super well built and have held up at work and for my home use . I work on BMWS however so nothing super HD , the warranty and 10% back is where they shine . And I find they don’t flop like the Gearwrench

Capri ratchets are much better. Just my opinion. Although I own mostly Snap On.

Gotta turn that camera sideways! I own some USA ratchets and some tektons but honestly I reach for the tektons first I just have the standard 1/4” and standard 3/8” both in quick release and Iv certainly pushed them both to what felt like would be the breaking point but they just keep chugging along! Never skipped on me or anything.

Tekton has the best warranty / all around best IMO Gearwrench shines w the head size / they have locking flex heads if your into that. But hear they break often… I have not had any issues w mine Icon sucks don’t buy it

That’s an interesting video idea ! I personally don’t really have a preference, both prices are amazing , warranty’s are great, and I beat on both brands pretty good. I honestly would pick Tekton if I only could choose one. But only for a few very small reasons.
