Agreed. MK7 was my first Mario Kart game and I used to play it all the time. A lot of the Wii tracks that were in MK7 give me nostalgia and I'm glad most of them got added into the DLC

Of all the games to have tracks missing though MK7 makes the most sense honestly. I mean technically MK8 is still only an enhanced edition of MK8 which is the sequel to MK7. Like you don’t just port over every single track from the previous game to the new one. You’ve gotta save some good tracks for retros in MK9 and lots of people still have MK7 due to how many systems it was bundled with.

Man, it’s a shame that the DS course are supposedly done. DS rainbow road would had looked amazing, the song would had been incredible to hear in MK8’s style, and the loop de loops would had been fun. Airship fortress should had been back a long time ago in my opinion, the track was just really memorable. And we got a knock off Luigi’s mansion, with twisted mansion..

I know it controversial but I think Mario Kart 9 is Tour. They did show Tour as an official Mario kart when the pass was first announced. It did come after Mario kart 8 so would make sense for the next game to be Mario Kart 10 which makes it more exciting because they could do something special with it being the 10th game.

I hate to burst your bubble, but I wouldn’t hold my breath for a Mario Kart 9 anytime soon if I were you. The Nintendo Switch and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe are still selling way too well for that to happen. It would be a terrible decision from a business perspective to do so. And I can’t imagine they’re gonna break the one Mario Kart per console tradition either. In all likelihood, I can see a second booster course pass (or maybe like half of one, 24 tracks instead of 48) to fill in other fan favourite tracks from previous Mario Kart games.

I think Nintendo should add 1 more cup called the 1up cup, where 1. Making the course selection at 100 because that’s a better number than 96. 2. Making it where they make a voting system where they pick a few tracks (ex. Airship fortress wii rainbow road, a bowser castle and others) and have the community vote on which 4 tracks will make the game or even like a bracket system where they put 2 tracks against each other and whichever one wins goes in the 1up cup. 3. This benefits Nintendo by earning them more money and having more people playing the game since they had a choice of which tracks are in this time. I choose the name of the cup to be the 1up cup because in Mario games they’re an important item that gives you lives and the name goes well with the purpose being to add 1 extra cup. Same could be said with characters but that’s not a huge concern.

I love the Wii Sports Resort tracks! They should’ve returned in 8 Deluxe. But at least we have them in Wii CTGP.

Rainbow Road SNES is already in 8 Deluxe. It was a DLC track in the original 8.
