The Tyrant is probably my favorite. Really fun in the tractor beam deck I put together a while back! Also, with the Visage, it was super good against hidden base, so you could scan any planet immediately.

The only star destroyers my cousin and I pulled were the Thunderflare and the uncommon ones. At 10 years old, we loved the uncommons just as much as the uniques though lol.

always liked Judicator's text. nothing really tops opening a Executor back in 1998 when Scrye hadn't provided a picture yet and the internet barely had visible scans. pulling that card had that jaw-dropping moment when you see the horizontal card for the first time, and power 12. as a kid, the deploy cost wouldn't phase you

I never played in a Tournament so it wasn't until a few months ago I realised people had different pronunciations for it. I wonder if the LucasArts people just thought "Executioner" was too long and just didn't realise what issues shortening it would cause? Haha

I remember being pretty bummed when seeing the Scrye price guide and not seeing any new Vader for Dagobah, but then immediately forgetting all of that when I pulled an Executor from a pack and the amazement of it being horizontal!

My fav star destroyer most likely is tyrant; then flagship executor foil id say both are awesome!

Non-unique Victory Classes are good at 6 deploy. Executor got better because of Commander Mejerek who can pull Fondor (and Piett pulls him, and Imperial Command pulls him). Non- unique Death Squadron Star Destroyers from Special Edition can be good too, immunity to attrition

Cool video topic though you didn't do the non-unique basic Imperial class! Thunderflare is my top. I do think the forfeit bonus to ties from Vengeance makes for interesting deckbuilding.

An interesting thing about the Devastator and the Conquest pictures - they are Imperial-class II on cards, but in the movie, they are Imperial I - it looks like Decipher never minds about it.

I think the OG Devastator was the best. Stats are just the perfect combination. Thankfully they didn't release some busted Star Destroyer that power creeped it out in Reflections III. The coolest is Chimaera with Thrawn in command.

The first time someone put down the Executor during a game I think I fell over in my chair in fear lol. My DS deck is full of star destroyers. My favorite is Chimaera (for look) and Thunderflare (for text). Im going to have to look at Accuser and Judicator after this though!

Love me some Executor. Pulled 2 of them back in the day, chasing Boba Fett & Slave I (which I didn't realize at the time wasn't in the set, but you better believe I got them both in Cloud City :D ) I always used Tyrant + tractor beam mixed with a bunch of bounty hunters in my Captive deck. Keep it up!

Stalker was pretty good in a probe droid deck with Piett. Get those two out and just flood the board with probes and their lasers lol. And probe droids could force drain.
