Yamoshi IS NOT the original Super Saiyan God. Yamoshi is the original Super Saiyan. His wandering spirit is what makes the Super Saiyan God ritual possible but he himself was not the original Super Saiyan God. Shenron states that the original Super Saiyan God fought evil Saiyans ON Planet Vegeta. In the Toriyama interview where Yamoshi was first mentioned he is stated to have fought and died BEFORE the Saiyans moved to Planet Vegeta. If you guys are interested I could make a separate short about this since a LOT of people get the original SSG and Yamoshi mixed up.

@@hoohoo431 Same, I've never heard otherwise and this is the first time I've heard about this interview although what I'm reading now I realized I misunderstood yamoshi was the original super Saiyan and a super Saiyan God never existed yamoshi's spirit was searching for the super Saiyan God, not was a wandering super Saiyan God, therefore Goku is the first super Saiyan God if that's correct. Again that's assuming what I just read is correct I've never heard this interview they refer to.

There's 2 types of Saiyan's, the pure hearted kinds just like the U6 Saiyan's or the Typical Saiyan's like Nappa. It was said that the Good kind we're exterminated in a civil war against the "evil Saiyan's".

Yamoshi Yamoshi's backstory relates directly to Dragon Ball Super's Battle of Gods Saga. Apparently, Yamoshi, in a sense, is the Super Saiyan God form. It was his essence that created it. He made a brief appearance during the ritual where Goku gathered five Saiyan souls to help him become a Super Saiyan God and take on Beerus.
