Honestly, a lot of its issues to me come down to the track arrangement. It burns its energy out way too early on and has too many tracks that are samey and in awkward positions in a row. Some people are posting rearranged versions and it is stunning how just that bumped the album from like an a alright record to a great one for me. Allows all the tracks to shine one their own much more and makes you realize how they actually had a damn good record (but probably could have been split in half and made into two since the album seems like two merged into one)
