@@ethnictendo that’s actually incorrect, in the Mario Bros. 3 game manual it’s stated that the koopalings are bowser’s offspring, a lot of people claim that it was a translation error, but it’s stated In the Japanese manual as well. It’s also strongly referred in the Super Mario Adventures Comic from Nintendo Power’s monthly magazine that the koopalings are Bowser’s children. I personally think Miyamoto has retconned his own characters and has continuously been an unreliable source of info. Like when he was asked who Bowser Jr’s mother was, he just pointed to himself….
