"Dixie Fryer"--obviously a play on the Dixie Flyer, a rather legendary train as ran between 1908 and 1969 from the Midwest (with Chicago and St. Louis sections as met at Evansville, IN) through to Florida via Nashville, Chattanooga, Atlanta, Macon, Waycross and Jacksonville, with through Pullman cars to Tampa and Miami (via the Florida East Coast) in later years. Described as "Passing Through the Old [Civil War] Battlefields and by Lookout Mountain in Daylight, Going and Returning."

I was just the other day explaining the song 'Shortnin' Bread' to my husband, and fell back on "you know, Bugs Bunny sings it", and ended up going down a deep rabbit hole, trying to figure out if any comprehensive lists of the little tunes constantly used existed. I found several incomplete and short wiki's mainly discussing the classical pieces used, and then found this incredible channel! Keep up the great work!

(This might be a contradiction thing to say but I’m only being honest, I’m sorry 😢) Bosko might be the only racist depiction of a black person that didn’t outright purposely look ugly, Speedy’s in 1st tho cuz he comes in later as a Mexican racist depiction but became more famous.
