AND THEN HE JUST BASICALLY ADMITS HE HAS NO IDEA WHAT HE'S DOING EITHER! And I just bust a gut at the absurdity of it all.

Watching these cartoons while growing up in the 80's and 90's I soon figured out that alot of these references were caricatures of old actors and even learned to identify who most were, but until now I didn't know who this particular caricature was. I'm glad to know now after looking up a few things about him. One thing I've always wondered about the many actor caricatures in cartoons, from the Merrie Melodies and Loony Tunes of the 40's and 50's all the way up to the portrayals of actors in the 90's with Tiny Toons and Animaniacs, how did the actors feel about the way they were portrayed? I imagine the reactions were wide and many.
