Spidey got better at dealing with foes during the course of the series, going from not being able to take on "the big man", to ultimately being the one to defeat him in battle. I love the fact this Spidey didn't have an easy time dodging out the way of foes, it makes all his victories earned knowing all that experience didn't come out of nowhere.

I can't explain it, it just looks so painful and real like you actually get a sense of how much damage and punishment this man takes.
