If Snape didn't ask voldemort not to kill lily , Harry wouldn't get his mother's protection against voldemort. 3. @@jewel8482 but if snape didnt tell about harry and his parents were alive, the main things that made voldemort lose would also be eliminated. At the end of the book, harry was immortalised against voldemort because voldemort used harry's blood to come back to physical form and therefore took on lily's sacrificial protection and anchored harry back to life when he was hit by Avada Kedavra. So in other words, harry was immortalised as long as Voldemort had harry's blood in him. If wat you're saying was the case where lily and james never died then no sacrificial protection or immortal harry against Voldemort situation. And we dont know how good the school life would be because Voldemort would be at his prime since he wouldnt be defeated by baby harry which would mean he is a constant threat to the order anyway. And the prophecy may not take place then because Harry would not be marked as Voldemort's equal if not for him hearing the part of the prophecy about Harry being the one to defeat him. I think it would be in Voldemort's favour tbh.

I think my favorite saves on this list is definitely Harry's wand. The movies didn't emphasize the relationship he had and the love he had for his wand very much. Especially in the scene where it saved him from Voldemort as it was described in the book as moving on its own. Hermione was literally the mvp. She was the greatest witch hogwarts had probably seen in a while. I wish a better writer than Rowling had created her bc then she would've given her a chance to innovate with magic, and push the frontiers, rather than just be good at replicating.
