Another re-run. No complaints, although I own a Duramax, I like listening to Lenny's insights. I'll eventually get a 5.9, and a 7.3, so these episodes help for future planning.

What is the back pressure when due for regen? What about a retrofit kit for older trucks? Would be relatively simple to rig. A back pressure sencer a electric high pressure pump with a contusions rated injector and a thermal cupple ( control the regen fire temp by varying pump voltage/ output pressure)

I just added a Radiator/Coolant Pressure Gauge to pair with my Water Temperature Gauge. I have had a terrible time with radiator caps failing in weeks or not much longer than a month. Almost all radiator caps - no matter the brand - are made by Motorad. I stopped using the safety lever versions and have gone back to just using the simple caps.

What is being done to the 12.5 pined at 18° to keep a shop from reading the data plate that said 13° and installing the pump with proper18°《mechanics thinking 13+5≠18 actually18+5 =23°》?

i just had a CP4 failure on my 2012 6.7 powerstroke what is the better pump to go with
@RSAF-rms9 күн бұрын
From what I have heard, the CP4 is more likely to fail because of lack of lubricant in North American ULSD fuel. Biodiesel that has possibly been sitting around for some time has also been blamed. A fuel additive to add lubricity should be added from day 1. You can replace with a new CP4, but you might want some insurance with a CP4 "disaster prevention kit". You could also convert to a DCR pump. Search on those and you will find the info (I am not affiliated with any diesel product organization). Also, some fuel additives increase cetane and resist cold weather effects on fuel in addition to adding lubricity.
