I feel like something they could have done to differentiate the mortar from the napalm is give the napalm no splash damage but buff the lingering fire damage, or even just make the mortars rarer but hit even harder so they're like the power missile to the napalm's fire missile. The fact they functioned so similarly has always bugged me a little.

worth mentiioning that TM4's Rain 2 is much more likely to garner some hits when enemies are in the air - such as going off ramps or Amazonia's launch pad things.

I just miss twisted metal so much. Its annoying they only ever port TMB, or TM2 to current day consoles. I want to be able to play Small brawl, 3, 4, 2012, and head on again. They really need to cook some sort of remasters to coincide with the season 2 of the tv show.

You honestly surprised me with saying the Mega-Guns are the best pickup in all of Twisted Metal, I would never have thought of them! But I most certainly agree with you on that! They are so broken but soo good!! Also... 26:24 Really!!? You're saying the Remote Bombs are useless in TM4? I'm not trying to say your wrong or anything, but I honestly don't get it! I've always had a great time using the Remote Bombs in TM4! They have always been really good for me! That game actually made me love that weapon in the first place and made me want to use it more! Sure they are not as strong as the ones in TM2, but I'd say they did pretty good damage! at least for me! But hey, that's just my opinion on the matter... :>

The rain missile in Twisted Metal 3 should have had a "super fire" effect, maybe differentiated by making the flames red or blue, that did double damage and couldn't be put out with turbo, to at least make it usable or even still make up for the asinine circular pattern the missiles erupt in.

From what I've seen, the Oil Slicks (that's their name according to the manual of the game) don't actually affect the CPU cars in any way, which is plain stupid since it's still a pick-up in the tournament mode. It'd be nice if it worked as you could use it to make enemies slip off the L.A. Rooftops. Since it has no effect whatsoever outside the 2-player mode, it definitely is the worst weapon in the series. As for the Tire Spikes, they are actually a decent weapon as they DO inflitct damage (just look at Warthog's health bar in your video while you were using them) along with the fact the cars are slowed down for a short period of time, which can also be very useful in that game when you're low on health and can't stop being chased by a fast car, mainly in the Freeway level (they come in packs of 3 too). The fact that the cars get slowed down is actually a feature I find very cool. It could have actually been carried on to TM2, but since there were already other better weapons for such purpose such as a rear Ricochet, mine, rear freeze, there was no more need for those. EDIT: Oh, and they're actually better than the Catapults since these in fact deal no damage by themselves.

23:40, i played TM4 countless times, but never got to have the Auto Lob to go up LOL. And you forgot to mention that if you are indoors, that weapon is 100% useless since it won't release its missiles (or whatever they are) and therefore the enemy gets unscathed

#15 There was something about the sniper rifle in TM2012 that was special lol, online I always grabbed it as soon as it spawned and went to the highest point of the maps to play Sniper Elite XD, got a lot of wins off of it as well I was always in top 3 if I wasn’t number 1 in kills.

The biggest thing for the mortar for me was in TM3 the thing was so long range with a nice arc that sort of homed in, in TM4 the thing is a mess, super short range and not really worth using. Unless you do the TM3 roadkill strat and point blank lmao.

My biggest problem with the Roman Candles is that they take up so much of your inventory. Your max inventory is 40 and the Roman Candles take up 10 slots. That's 25% of your inventory. They can be decently useful at times, but not enough to be worth all that space. I'd also put the Ricochet higher, but I love getting bank shots so I am pretty biased towards it, I will admit. The homing missiles in Head-On are slept on. Hitting two of them deals 20 dmg, which is equal to a power missile. Getting that much dmg with little effort is very good. I'd argue they're the 3rd best homings behind TM1 and TM2.

Are you talking about the PS2 version of Head on or PSP? Mainly asking because on the PS2 version EVERY weapon is pretty over powered to the point that nothing really sticks out as good or bad haha

the only thing I think I disagree with your list on is your brief comment on the TM4 remote - you said it was bad. While the knockback is nothing to ride home about compared to in TM3, I think TM4's remote bomb still does decent damage. Couple this with how slick and quick you can place and explode remotes as you're turbo'ing! In TM2 and 3, sometimes they explode right when you place them for seemingly no reason! And of course, you can also use the remote bomb to get rid of the train, helicopter and that pesky ROLLING METAL!!!!

My first thought was speed missiles because man those are crap but yeah, I did forget those TM1 weapons as I never really played the first much. I had that thing where I played TM2 first and I think even 3 before as well,so when I played TM1 I was not very satisfied lol. Yeah those TM1 weapons are definitely worse but at least it had the excuse of first game syndrome. Speed missiles just suck.
