On our last flight some lady sitting behind our daughter took her shoes off and put her feet on my daughter’s arm rest. She took video of this woman’s feet and may or may not have poked them once. Just keep your shoes on folks.

I was the little girl who managed to get past TSA with blades. They took my favorite pocketknife once, but didn’t find my other blades. While on the flight I pulled out a big pair of sharp scissors [to cut some paper I was drawing on], and I had always wondered why the flight attendants were laughing. Now that I’m older, it all makes sense. TSA is a joke - if someone really tried, they could get things past them. I think they’re too busy confiscating shampoo bottles.

I work at the Duty Free store at O' Hare Airport and you wouldn't believe how foreign travelers spend thousands of dollars at the store every day. The most extravagant shoppers are the Chinese who literally dress head to toe all designer and spend money like water with no hesitation.

I figured it was because in a lot of cases people have to stay in the airport for their next flight and don’t get to leave. That way you can still say you bought something from xyz country without leaving the airport.

When younger (20s), we travelled with the most straight-laced, uptight friend (just a nerdy whit guy). He was a computer specialist, self-employed. Several of us were elementary teachers (who apparently seemed innocent enough). After the 3rd trip of us being ushered through, and him being pulled aside, we just said, “We’re not waiting. We’ll see you at the gate.” No idea what was on that little screen of theirs, but apparently something seemed suspicious. And he was SUCH a goody-goody!! Pretty funny, really, that he was always stopped! (Like, his shoes swabbed for drugs, thorough search of luggage inconvenience, etc.) 🤷🏻‍♀️😂

Brad's TSA agent is so real! I lost a lot of weight one summer before a vacation and had to wear a belt with all my pant to hold them up. Then going to the airport I had to take off the belt and the TSA agent was yelling at me because my pants wouldn't stay up. He literally was telling me I could do what I wanted with my pants on my own time... he wasn't in a listening mood so I didn't bother telling him I was just trying to move through the line with my huge pants without a belt and wasn't playing any games. I know TSA tries to keep us safe but why do they have to be so angry and grumpy? Anyway thanks for making vids and jokes, you guys are great! ☺️

When I first started flying, or even just picking up/dropping off someone at the airport, the arriving/departing wording was one of the things that tripped me up the most 😂 "I'm arriving at the airport, so do I go to arriving? But the plane will be departing, so then do I go there??" It's such a simple concept but can be so confusing 😆

In my 30 years of living and many many flights, I've learned to not wait in line unless its coffee i desperately need but i just wait till the end when boarding. To wait in my seat on the plane while everyone infront of me is off and to be calm and understand what i wear going through security. If i know i dont have much time through connecting flights i can ask the employee to call my connecting flight and let them know im on my way if late (usually if they arnt busy they will help just ask nicely). And always always get to the airport earlier.
