One easy way to make the MK2 less overpowered, take it away from the MC bike request list. Classify it as a plane so even if they call it in it spawns a bit further away from the player. Gives counters a chance to keep them from getting back on it.

The rest of their game design shows they are inconsistent in their good decisions (they didn't go back and update older vehicles with limited ammo or counter measures), they perpetuated a toxic culture by making the objective of PvP free roam missions Destroy rather than Steal, and they didn't learn anything from when a bug became a feature that made the game more enjoyable when Ghost Organization was long lasting and on just about everyone. Maybe the higher ups want more money from GTA Online but the designers doing the work aren't exactly making the best decisions either.

Hi Hummer, the problem is that the MK2 broke the GTA in balance game because a good jet pilot can be handling two other jet pilots but can't be handling a MK2 and a jet at the same time. Mk2 just f* with GTA. It's a pathetic and unreal vehicle. It was a flaw from Rockstar and totally unnecessary. Remove rockets from MK2, PROBLEM is solved.

I had MK2 Tryhards message me mad 😡 That they can’t kill me ... easily. Jump into a night shark when my cab is down. Back into the MoC when it responds. At the same time, trying to use sticky bombs. A true tryhard is determined but dumb... I try to lure them into tunnels... sticky bomb. I still wish they nurf the rockets.... I’ve seen them do 360s and hit. At least make them like every other homing rockets in the game

The cheapest and most fun way I've found is the insurgent (not the pick up). Just lead the oppressor into a narrow tunnel or ally way and toss a sticky bomb at them. Works like a charm. If they are skilled with the bike and this method isn't working as easily as expected just keep going off radar and repairing the insurgent. It takes up to 10 or 12 explosions so they have to keep starting over and most of the time they give up

I find the akula is good because you can use stealth mode to jump them, if they are flying in a straight line and you are behind them they stand no chance because you can fire unlimited missiles at them and they have little-no time to react, the only problem is that you can't dodge the mk2 missiles either

I love my Mk 2 makes missions go by so easily. I only use it PVP when someone brings out a hydra, tank or MK 2. Though I prefer the Atomizer over the MK 2 when dealing with other Oppressors.

I think the deluxo is better than the mk2 oppressor because it has 2 places, it really moves harder but you don't have to do them, you have more defense and you also have machine gun and rockets.

@@insinergy_DDD it kinda does, i remember a friend who just started playing the game told me the other day that he was minding his own business doing freeroam misions(tresure hunt) and 3 tryhards with opressors started targeting him, he wouldnt even have time to turn passive mode on because they will kill him as soon as he spawned he ended up changing the session just to find another mk2 tryhards, it ruins the game especially for new players, the mk2 isnt especially the problem but the fact that it can be abused is

Since the cool down and aim issues were fixed. The best ground (on foot) counters for MKIIs are the unholy hellbringer (the smaller laser gun) the up n atomizer and the MKII Revolver with incendiary rounds And if you can blow up the oppressor make them wait 5 minutes...most tryhards rage quit,but if they call it in again using the mechanic just blow it up again

Jonh Chorizo They implemented that with the casino update sadly, sometimes it works with BST but not reliably. Best way to take on an oppressor on ground is BST+ mini gun/widow maker or Up-N-Atomizer then swap to any weapon to lock on and kill them while they’re falling

On the contrary of what you actually implied in your title, there is more mk2 counters then what you show us and here is what I use that you don't show (even if you're supposed to). The yacht's defense. Plus, if you have a scuba diving suit, can even go below your yacht to be protected against the orbital canon, if the mk2 guy, try that, since he don't get you with his broomstick. Terrorbyte+drone+rc bandito combo. It's easy to do. Step 1. Bait the oppressor to your nigthclub. Step 2. Get out of the nigthclub with the terrorbyte. Step 3. Use the drone. From here, the following step can change in a way you can kill him 1 more time with version 1. Version 1. step 5. Zap the player if he was stupid enough to land on a roof and enjoy that gravity is on your side, if you see what I mean. Step 6. Once he respawn, blow him to his next life. Step 7. Now that your drone is no more, use the rc bandito. Step 8. Show him how toy story is dangerous for his life. Version 2. Step 5. Simply skip step 5. He is on his oppressor. Unless, you zap him off his broomstick in mid air, just use a pose in his movement to explode him. The last counter I'll name, use the thing he lack the, most. Patience. Those using mk2 for kills are usually lacking that quality. Here's what you'll need. An unfinished facility heaist and an unfinished appartement heist. Step 1. You see an mk2 attack is approaching? Fast travel to the facility. Step 2. Go out. If you see him coming to you. Fast travel to the appartement. Step 3. Rince and repeat until his lack of patience makes him go away. So here. 3 more counter to oppressor mk2.

Except with method 2 your making him frustrated to go from point a to point b nonstop instead of giving him the opportunity to think you're afraid of the broomstick player. Also the game having change passive mode, going passive wouldn't be the best solution, because he may come back as soon you'll quit passive mode and then, it's 5 minutes before going passive, and the timer reset each time you kill a player, may it be in crusfire, by exploding his potential allies or in other ways. So, yup. My option 2 IS better then going passive, since you're making the broomstick player frustrated until he go away and doesn't have to deal with the passive mode changes or to be killed, while waiting to go passive mode again.

If you have an Oppressor yourself, always fly with interaction menu open and EWO as soon as your hear someone lock on, they don't get the kill and it costs them 10k. They will usually move on to other low hanging fruit when they realize you're not going to be easy to kill.

Get the Duke O' Death. It can take 9ish homing rockets and is bullet resistant. Enough to at least allow you to survive a while out there on the streets. It's free to returning PS3/360 players too.
