Elvis Presley, the King of Rock & Roll, has long had a reputation for being a bit of a playboy. Many women paid him visits at his Graceland mansion in Memphis, Tennessee, and whenever he would be in Vegas, he could typically be seen with a girl or two on his arm.
But let's be real. Who could resist this legendary rock star? Not only was he a musical genius, but he was also a bonafide veteran of the United States Army. In addition to having an incredible singing voice, Elvis was also quite the looker. Just look at those puppy dog eyes.
Throughout his relatively short 42 years of life, many a lady found their way into the arms of the Blue Suede Shoes singer, although he would eventually settle down and marry Priscilla. Even so, both before and after their divorce in 1973, there were a ton of other women that The King dated and slept with.
But despite being an international sex symbol, it's been said that Elvis wasn't very good with women. Some even accuse him of having an unhealthy predilection towards young girls. Elvis further has been described as someone that never fully matured. Some today might refer to him as a man-child. As a young man, he had an unusually over attached relationship with his mother. It's been theorized that this made it difficult for the singer to relate to other mature women. We'll be exploring this idea in more detail towards the end of this video.

He met Priscilla when she was 14. But she came to live in Memphis when she was turning 18 in 1963. Elvis father & stepmother were responsible for her. But they were only intimate after getting married when she was 21. He probably married out of obligation because, he promised her father. When he first became famous in 1954, he was 19 and of course his audience was of screaming teenagers (as in the pictures in the video). It does NOT mean he preferred teens throughout his life. He didn’t! The women he hooked up with in the Las Vegas years were show girl types. Of course when he was in high-school he dated another high-schooler. Wasn’t the love of his life Ann Margret?

This is so well described. Theese teen age girls were fans, they called themself "gate girls" and they followed his every move. Elvis always cherished his fans, and he would often invite them in. He could'nt go out in public like a normal person because of his insane fame, and he loved the company. Some of them, like Sandi Miller and Patty Parry became close friends with Elvis, not lovers.

People have to keep in mind that because of how his mother raised him (overly protective and overly smothered him) and being socially awkward off stage, he had a peculiar connection/relationships with women. Not to mention his religious upbringing which made it even more complex. Neither of those made him a bad person. It did not help matters though when women were constantly encouraging him to sleep with him. Not to mention people, things were VASTLY different in those days. I’m really glad in the last few years of his life that he realized that sex wasn’t that all that important or interesting anymore, even though mainly the “relationships” he had through his lifetime mostly consisted of making out and cuddling. I really wish people would refrain from trashing him and to keep all of what I just said in mind.

Those COWS who trash Elvis had ample opportunity to break off with him if he was as bad as some of the walruses claim. It shows that they were not up to much when they were prepared to act as Prostitutes for as long as they could. It is extremely rude and trashy to speak ill of the dead.. At that time it was so easy to get in trouble with the Law and with parents if one stepped out of line. Decent women who were asked about Elvis mostly said that he was a real gentleman, ultra generous, Respectful etc and he was the world's greatest entertainer. Natalie Wood never spent time at Graceland because Elvis didn't even own Graceland until a year after Elvis and Natalie went on several dates. Elvis and Priscilla. Thing is Priscilla was very mature for her age and Elvis was shocked when he found out how old she was not. Truth is, each time Elvis met with Priscilla during their time in Germany, it was under the approval of her parents. It was not like they were sneaking around. Also, after Elvis left Germany, when his tour of duty was over, he didn't see Priscilla again for three years, I think so as because she was so young he wanted to give her that time to age and grow up. I have mixed feelings still even though Elvis' intent was not bad. She was too young and not a good match. Even though social times were different then and all the way back to hundreds of years before where post pubescent girls would often marry grown men. Why? Because 99% of women were not going to college or would be working and would be staying home taking care of the home and raising kids, just as soon as they passed through puberty many were looking to get married and start a family. Both sets of my grandparents, my grandfathers were older than their wives, one 11 years older and the other 9 years older. Many people today try to use today's standards to judge that behavior but it was very common. I still am uneasy even understanding that.

First, you need to think about the time that Elvis grew up in and the area that Elvis was raised. Because it's very different growing up in the South as a child than it is growing up in Los Angeles in the 21st century! Secondly, the Virgin Mary was thirteen or fourteen years of age when she gave birth to Jesus. We used to get married younger and have children much younger. By the time you were 30 you were done having kids! Nowadays, by the time you are 30 you're probably not even married. More and more women are giving birth to children in their forties, so it makes it difficult for those growing up in this day and age to understand how things were in the 30s and into the 70's.

IdK. In an itnerview with Priscilla and the family member she stayed with while waiting for him for marriage, the family member said Elvis wasn't sending money for her. You're damn right it was inappropriate and it's ridiculous her parents allowed it. I was involved with many young women when I was a young man and if I ever suspected they were a teenager, even one beyond the age of consent I'd end it. Frankly when I was a young man in my early twenties I preferred older women in their thirties or early middle age because most just wanted a physical relationship and women in their forties would spend their money on you. The trouble with that though is many of them were married and on several occasions, I got caught with them which was quite dangerous. I was pretty notorious for that kind of behavior but eventually got married at the age of 37 to a 29-year-old divorcee and have been married to her for 36 years now. I'm 73 now and much of it is a distant happy memory and is as well one that makes me realize I was rather foolish having relationships with married women especially down here in the very violent south where guns are so prevalent. I'm damn lucky one of those husbands didn't kill me. The finest woman I ever bedded was a woman I met in California. I was 25 and she was 45 and had the greatest body I'd ever seen. She was a former beauty queen and her daughter was a former local beauty queen herself the same age as I was then. Now when I muse upon it I realize she, if still living, is 93 and likely senile with no memory of me at all.
