Totally love this scene in this awesome rom-com movie. Best part for me is 0:48 - 0:58 All those fake smiles from women while they were thinking how chauvinistic jerk he is. And Nick (Gibson) realized that he is not as cool and irresistible macho man he thought he is. The Mel's expressions during this scene is what I call awesome, top-notch acting as his ego was just flushed down the drain.

Easy. They want fun. Babies. Holidays. Take care of them like a flower. If you don't treat flower right, then the marriage don't last long. Money is obviously important and how smart you are with income. No one wants a guy who works in store for 500 bucks. Not enough to get everything done each month. But renting places and 2 jobs would be enough.

They want conflicting things, risk taking bad boys but also safety, security etc. Guys who put their lives at risk and are 'exciting' are more likely to die accidentally and leave them alone to raise kids. Guys who are stable and safe give a sense of security buy don't necessarily push all the right primitive monkey brain buttons to generate tingles in the pants area. Can only speak in generalities but understanding women isn't particularly hard, its just that when you finally do understand the actions and behaviors you're observing in women you realize its predicated on out dated evolutionary software which doesn't work particularly well in the modern world and as a result appears irrational. Considering they've been taken as slaves and property for thousands of years, lost children to conflict, disease, etc had to put up with fairly brutal treatment for the 300k year history of humans, its no surprise most of them are a bit crazy. My theory is being delusional and a bit crazy was a survival advantage. Famine, disease, death. I would much rather get stabbed to death in a fight, than die due to blood loss from a rough birth in a barn in medieval europe during the winter months or the infection that follows from a tear or something.

If Hollywood ever did a reboot of this movie, it would be interesting to flip the script and have the actress be able to read men’s minds. It would probably start out as a horror movie, filled with the stereotypical tropes to play for laughs. By the 2nd act however, we’d come to see that men are actually thinking about dozens of other things besides sex: work, kids, friends, sports, the gym, mental health, politics, money, parents, cars, music, games, the Roman Empire, things that need to be fixed around the house, etc. At the end, the epiphany is that we’re all just humans trying to get through life.
When someone spreading bad comments then people will trust that only...the one who is will guide you like this 😊

They have studied the brain and found out a human has about 70,000 thoughts day and go through 6.5 different thoughts a minute. So within 10 seconds people have something new happening in their brain. But if a person is completely depressed They usually just have thoughts of finding ways to kill themselves and dont really change much in their brain. Explains why the depressed girl, everytime he reads her mind thats all she thinks about. But If you were to read a normal person's mind you would have a hard time reading it, its like trying to cross a vietnamese street.

So, judging from the comments, I can see that media literacy is dead. Most people wouldn't want their deepest darkest thoughts on display. Also, the woman was clearly joking to herself and was never serious about actually wanting a commercial about faking a headache. Nothing about this has anything to do with "women themselves not knowing what they want" or "women being insecure". If any of you actually watched the film, maybe you'd know that. Or maybe you just all suck at reading the room.
