@@ayrtonjoga I agree but the GTA games from 3 to SA had a much more animated look to them a mix of cartoony and realism kind of like the Batman Animated series both very different styles GTA and MGS. I have no idea how people miss the fact that GTA wasn't meant to look hyper realistic not until GTA IV so they do work for this style but i do think they could've been better.

They’ve kept the original art style but just updated the textures, lighting and mechanics which imo is THE best way to remaster them, the original art style for the trilogy was always cartoony and stylised it was never trying to go for full realism, having the same gameplay and controller layout as GTA 5 is perfect because that is the best control layout for the series to me and many others, can’t wait for November 11th to play them

Dude I remember when they came out I was like wow this is the most realistic graphics I’ve ever seen in a video game.. so basically the were going for realism on character models especially but technology was limited back then… but now they literally messed up some characters…. I mean just look at misty’s and joey’s faces and especially misty’s… and salvatore in my opinion looks wayyyy better in the older version even tho the graphics are low

Rockstar said that they are leaving the classic feel in the game with graphical improvements. This is what they meant. They actually did what they said they were gonna do. These were their exact words "while also maintaining their distinct original aesthetic". They still want to have that nostalgic feel in the games.

Want to know what I really appreciate? How they remastered the out-dated controls to be adaptive with next generation consoles & with a complete graphical over-haul; but how they still made it feel like you were playing the original game with its original mechanics. It doesn’t feel feel like a different game. This is how the game would be if it was never, released until this year. I love that and am super excited for this!🖤 These 3 games deserve this attention.

Yes, I think they were a bit quick to offer the improved versions, especially since they were excellent games, and they were bringing in big sales, and they're still bringing more, really worth more time, and giving us the best possible thing if you look at red dead 2 and these improved versions will feel like they just put them to calm the fans for a while after the disaster of the improved version of gta 5 they can do more but the most important thing is the money at the end we can't do anything...
