I love the freebirds. I didnt care if they were heels or faces these guys were rock stars. I loved how theyd walk into the arena like they owned the place and the combination of michael hayes, buddy roberts and terry gordy was unbeatable. I like jimmy garvin but when he joined the group the magic was overby then

The Freebirds had the perfect set-up once Buddy Roberts was added. He was the ring vet, and could work with anyone. Gordy was the big man, and could work better than most guys his size, amd Michael was the mouthpiece. You didn't want to lose your heat by beating Hayes, you didn't want to kill Gordy's mystique, so, you beat Roberts, and 10 seconds later the little rat had his heat back. People could cheer Hayed and Gordy in the right circumstances, but Buddy was like Tully Blanchard- almost no one wanted to cheer for him.

No offense to New Day, The Shield and other trio teams but The Freebirds are the best three-man combination of all-time.

@@kenterminateddq5311 Michael Hayes use to end some his promos with that phrase. I'm not certain if Kevin Sullivan ever used it yet I am about PS Hayes.
