I'm a telefundraiser, I have 30 seconds to convince someone to listen to me and figure out what I need to provide for the customer, whether to save time, listen to their complaints or concerns, whatever. I have to listen to their voice, listen to their tone, even look where in the country they are from and if their name is " older" ( Esther, Ida, etc. ). Always put the customer first and read the customer by what they say. Ty for your insight and guidance, I watch a lot of your interviews and now following your podcast.

There are some significant points in that podcast. There are other points that are worth mentioning or I see it significant when it comes to the negotiation: 1- know your advantages or disadvantages and vice versa. 2- make sure you have good questions to ask I took q whole class in my master's degree on how to ask good questions and when to ask. 3- losing the benefits of the deal to your customer, sometimes is a win in the long term. 4- Prepare what to say how and when? I run the conversation with one of the deals in my head so many times before going to the meeting it is like playing chess.

Successfully practiced your advice. Thank you so much!!! This time 25 %+ for one year. Then re-negotiations. Let's see. I am motivtated and do my best. They were somehow thankful that I articulated plans. Kniwledge is freedom! Best wishes for your business!

I just started watching you recently, on this show and others. I appreciate the way you think and try to get others to think. I find this episode intriguing, as I have been telling my boss this very thing, but not as clear as you have stated. I look forward to learning more and thank you for your content!

Maybe I'm not aware of something but I've seen this scenario in real life over and over again in the hiring process. Someone is applying for a job sells himself short to appear as a good candidate and agrees to lower salary hoping for renegotiation in 6 months. But the company think they got him I will not renegotiate. So 6 months pass and he starts negotiations again but they tell him no thank you it's fine as it is. Because why would they? they already got his service for a lower price that he agreed to so what's the point for them? At this point the underpaid employee has been over delivering for months. that only make them think they have great deal. Now he can do only one thing. If he does actually important things then he can leverage that status. He can search other jobs negotiate up to his benefit and then come back to his employer and and submit his notice that he's leaving the job. If he's important then they will want to negotiate his salary to make him stay and because he has other offers on the table then he can ask for what he actually wants to make. Since he's underpaid now then the raise will look significant for the company. But if they dismiss it he has other job offers so if it's okay for him. Some people even negotiate without having other offers however that is quite risky.

Re #EE_107: That “last one gets caught” bias can be taken advantage of with gaslighting. It would be persuasive communication (however unethical). #ET_Scribbles #ET_KZbin Thank you for your work, Andy!

Interesting. So this is like an embedded "freemium" you put up front to exceed their expectations so that the next project you can negotiate for more and get your worth

Cool stuff! Is there things you shouldn't do for a renegotiation? Or are they the same things to avoid?

so basically you create a trial period for yourself n then win them over with your work after they sampled your value. then have them pay your actual value.

In not aware way I have done your negotiation technique I didn't have to ask about renegotiation actually people offer me 50%more without asking I was person who was delaying renagation.. Since i want complete project first then talk about renegotiation.

Clear instructions but this appears to be geared more towards a seller than a buyer. You merely stated you got the contract negotiated 60% lower but didn't say the 'hows'.

This dude gives the complete opposite advice when it comes to pricing as almost billionaire alex hormozi, I think I'll go with Alex versus the super spy... Yea sell yourself for less than your worth.. that will get you real far. Didn't at the beginning of this he say sell yourself than more than you think your worth? Huge contradiction if anyone was paying attention. Like the other content so far. This just seemed lazy
