aweee Thank you Marla. I will admit editing a video for a daily release has been HARD. I thought once a week is/was hard... publishing daily is TOUGH! Since I (Stacey) am the only one that knows how to edit, its a lot on me. Plus I have our business to run too. So it means so much that everyone is enjoying what we've been putting out so far. Thanks again! 🥰

It is a wonderful way to fill our freezers. I'll be honest... still waiting for a phone call for our turn on the list and can't wait. We are down to very little moose left. It comes to a point where you hoard it and don't want to use it except for special occasions.

When i lived in the Yukon we had Moose Stew and Bannock and it was so good. It's been years since i had this but do remember how much Flavor there was in that Stew. Thanks for the memories. Smiles from BC

Ice under snow…makes for a challenging move of your truck and that packed full trailer! Great assist from Mike! It’s wonderful to see some of your tubs and stuff now out of the trailer. Susan

Like I said in the video it felt like Christmas. The funny thing is some of those tubs have yet to be unpacked. 🤣

Love that they have a list for people to use the moose meat. Its unfortunate that it happens but at least the meat gets used!

Go downhill skiing show us what it’s like please pretty please. What are the mountains like? What’s the nicest mountain there to go down downhill skiing?
@LivingFreeAlaska9 ай бұрын
We have a couple of hills and one resort in the area. Alyeska is the resort and they are about a 2.5 hour drive from here. One of these days I would like to go and get a hotel for a night. Both of are skiers (from years ago) so maybe we can take you to the slopes one of these days. However it wont be this year. Gary blew out his knee and is scheduled for surgery in 2 weeks. 😢

What does moose burgers taste like? I always wanted to try it.
@LivingFreeAlaska9 ай бұрын
It is very much like beef or bison and very lean. Not gamey at all in my opinion. Very palettable.

You should put chains on the tires to help you take it out

Hi, Is the moose meat strong or a mild meat ? I do believe I would rather hit a white tail deer than a moose. Hope all is going well . Take Care
@LivingFreeAlaska9 ай бұрын
It is VERY mild meat. Almost like beef. In fact I could probably sub it out into a spaghetti or a burger and you would have no idea it was moose. We however always disclose if its moose to guests because some still flat out refuse to eat... just means more for us. LOL 😆
