Me too. The first time I watched it, I was so afraid they were all going to die in the last episode. I also wish we hadn't lost Ukita or Mr. Yagami, but yeah, I'm really glad the rest of them made it. Thanks for watching!

I agree. Their deaths are two of the saddest ones. It's a shame we didn't get to see more of Ukita. And Soichiro's death especially, hit me harder than any other deaths in the series. Thanks for watching!

He is so empathetic and I love how this trait is expressed in his eyes and appearance in general 💛✨ Yes, one cannot but agree with you. I'm sure Matsuda is the sweetest, most innocent and sincere character in Death Note. Honestly, it's even a shame that he matured and really knew the bad side of this world by the end of the anime, but sooner or later it had to happen.

I just bought 1-13 manga, Another Note and L Change the world in a 'bundle' on Ebay 😃 Since you're the defintive, impartial oracle, I wanted to thank you for getting me excited to read it. Also for the fair perspectives, I got all frumpy and in a huff when L died, but you got the gift to sway folks to the second half. I may even have to revisit Psycho-Pass, they killed my waifu in the first season so I quit them. That's how powerful your persuasion is lol. RIP L and Kagari

No problem! I'm glad I convinced you to give the rest of the anime, plus the manga and light novels a try, lol. I really enjoyed the manga and the two books. Even though I liked the movie adaptation of L: Change the World, I liked the book even more. If you're interested though, you may want to check out the Japanese live-action adaptations of Death Note sometime. There are four movies and a TV drama. And the musical, too. Happy reading!
