You are such a wonderful makeup artist. My niece is 14 and has kind of just started doing her makeup and she tends to overdo and make herself very clown-like. I found your channel and while she is staying with me we are watching your videos and practicing using my mkeup. She is looking less and less like a clown and actually very pretty. She is understanding the concept of "natural" beauty through your videos. We really appreciate it!

@Masteroftrancegirl absolutely! you can use the same colors, just use the lighter color all over your lid below your crease and use the darker shade to contour in the eye socket/outer corners area with a blending brush. :)

@livingwater2009 It doesn't smudge at all (you can see it in my May Hits & Misses vid) but it's so waterproof that it's very difficult to remove as well and stains the eyelid a bit!

I love what you did to your upper check with a highlighter. Who would have ever thought to use an eye highlighter to make your face glow. No matter what you do to your face, you are still extremely gorgeous. Thanks for taking the time to teach us about makeup. I've been a tomboy most of my life and then one day - BLAM!!! I wanted to wear makeup but found that I lacked the ability to put it on in such a way that it would enhance my looks, not make me look like I got into a fight.

@dopechick2 YES! Unfortunately they have become very hard to find since the line was discontinued. I bought them a long time ago from Hautelook and it seems that the blushes aren't even in the Hautelook sales anymore. :(

@asianweirdo1 I use a waterproof mascara on my top lashes to hold up my lash curl, and a lengthening one on the bottom lashes to accentuate them. :)

@asiankiss99 Haha no I don't do anything to keep it from getting puffy but it definitely does get puffy! You can see it's really puffy in my Boston haul because it was the morning after my flight and I had all kinds of water retention in my face. XD

@frmheadtotoe Thank you for your reply :-). I really love these taupe colors, they're so versatile. I just got some nyx single eyeshadows in the mail today (frosted flakes, iced mocha, true taupe, sparkle cedar, and vanilla sky). I think I'm gonna try the frosted flakes on the lid and vanilla sky near the tear duct, and then either iced mocha or true taupe in the crease. Lol the sparkle cedar is beautiful but the sparkles which go all over the place I'll probably be using that sparingly.

Little tip for recording yourself...don't hold the items so close to the camera because it blurs them and it's hard to see clearly. Hold them back an inch or 2 and it'll make a difference. I love these videos, I think you're a very talented person and I would love to try out these styles someday.

hey jen just curious sometimes you are a monolid and sometimes you have a bit of a double eyelid, do you use eyelid tape? if so what do you use? i have double eyelids but they tend to get smaller or bigger at times...i think when i tired? super duper hope you reply! btw i love this look i tried it out but i wish i didnt have hooded lids so you could see it....
