When they broke the tow hook, they dropped the whole cyber truck on the tow hook. That’s why it broke. They were abusing the truck.
@wingless74727 күн бұрын
They did it to the F150 from higher up and several times with no issue. The frame is aluminum, it’s much weaker than the Industry standard Steel.
@anlam104427 күн бұрын
it's aluminum, aluminum breaks, steel don't. You're in denial about cybertruck being really bad at towing.
@tesla_PNW27 күн бұрын
No they didn't, complete bs @wingless747
@stingerBTW27 күн бұрын
@@anlam1044No one is in denial, the truck would probably be fine in a real world situation but if damage is already present and then you try to “test it” it will be much less stable. The frame should still be made of steel though and it’s kinda unfortunate to see them essentially market the truck as a cool stainless steel bulletproof tank but yet the main guts of the truck are weak. If they couldn’t make it work they should have used thinner steel on the exterior to save weight since I feel as though that was the issue. 😂

It would be very nice to see an actual range test. I saw some guys do a range test with a cybertruck and a regular bulky RV trailer and they got a terrible range of 80 mi. It seems to me that the issue is that there is not an aerodynamic transition or Hood between the Cyber truck and lost trailers. Tesla semi, for example has an aerodynamic design that is much more compatible with trailers.

I wonder how it’s insured? Like a cargo trailer or something else as the dude keeps calling it a “vehicle” and trailers need certifications to be registered and insured as a CAMPER. As it sits they don’t have any equipment like gas stove and furnace, fridge and water heater or a flushing toilet with a black tank, that requires them too get certified (they’ve skirted the rules so it’s technically not a camper from what I understand) so I wonder if it’s more to insure then a equivalently priced and sized camper trailer?

That guy doesn't seem like a very outdoorsy person or somebody who would even ever live in that thing for any length of time. Why don't you show me a month off-grid. The whole top should be solar panels and the awnings should be roll out solar panels on both sides. Oh I built my own solar sailboat where my wife and my two sons lived for two and a half years. To be honest you can never have enough solar. Whatever you think would be enough and the times that by 3.
