That blue wool pad is definitely my new favourite pad for cutting. I would also suggest the new Rupes compounds also, the coarse works very quick. I also found on some cars the da fine compound works great as a one step with the blue wool pads. Give it a go 👍
@everydaydetailing64493 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the tips! Appreciate that Paul, I will have a look at getting some next time I order stock 😀👍
@paulhamilton60133 жыл бұрын
@@everydaydetailing6449 where are you getting your stock from? I found clean and shiny the cheapest for the Rupes compounds and slims the cheapest for their pads. Slims also have the full range on Koch products, they have an offer on atm for vb which is a prewash snowfoam. It’s 33 litres and you only use 50ml in a snowfoam Lance, so it will last a while 😁

@everydaydetailing64493 жыл бұрын
Can go round with a dual action polisher, Koch chemie H9 and a chemical guys cutting glad (yellow) .. true one hit wonder for me and the trade cars 👍 will only need a wax/polish over the top... Rupes do UNO protect which is a all in one cut/polish/seal .. it’s good but the cut level is pretty low 👍

Powered Sanding on a car scares the heck out of me, manual process is most I have done, though I have just cut and polished using power tools my daughter's 15 y/o Kia transforming it from £200 car to £400 car, power sanding would probably put it up to £6/700 You make it look easy, I guess a couple of knackered panels from a scrapyard and bit of practice I might be more prepared to give it a go. That Pug was a real minger, looking fit for demolition derby, now however a decent daily driver for someone. Bring on the Fords!

Thanks David 👍😁 great part about this car was it’s low value, letting me push the limit with the sander without to much worry! Customer was understanding about the risk.

As a recent It's great watching your videos. Your work is excellent and your very honest with your comments and description. I notice when you are cleaning the car internally you always wear a mask and when you are undertaking the paint correction you wear a full face air assisted mask, why is that. What is the best way to clean a windscreen? Mine is greasy and has wax on it.... I have tried new wipers,clay barred the windscreen, fairy liquid, rainex ? It’s now just smeary...
@everydaydetailing64493 жыл бұрын
sounds like it may have some sort of failing protection already on the screen, it my be a better option to try some glass polish (perhaps Autoglym) they have a small amount of cut, and may remove grease or contamination 😀👍
