Just so satisfying seeing a older car getting some treatment and looking alot alot better near new condition small things can change alot. I can say this car has just increased its value at least by £1000 just by cleaing it. Also that interior was the best thing as we could see how dirty it was speacilly from that dirty water.

I purchased a mk4 Golf TDI new in 2001, and 393K miles later in 2019, I sold it to make way for a lightly used mk7. I still sometimes wish I had kept the mk4, as I really liked it. It still looked and drove great, but some of the plastics and pieces were just starting to wear out. That, and I got a great price on the mk7. Great job on the detail - it looks like it's got a ton of years left in it.

Just a question on older petrol engine bay cleaning when they don't have an engine cover and caked in oil dust debris from the roads iv used a steamer a brush very fast movements with small amounts of apc but still had a few vauxhalls and fords flash up a misfire due to moisture getting past the coil pack. Iv got a 22 year old golf with no engine cover and never had this Problem but my golf has good rubbers when u come across other cars the rubbers are perished. So how do u avoid this problem Iv even tried having the wet vacuum suck as I use and steam or liquid lather but hasn't worked all the time theres still a risk to it
@everydaydetailing64494 жыл бұрын
Its not easy to be honest, back in the 90's/2000's we often had to dry out dizzy caps and coil packs, the only other option, might to be use a compressed air line instead to remove the pre-soaked/scrubbed area 👍😀

My issue is it’s a bit grubby inside and out and could really benefit from the type of valet you’ve done on this. What should I expect to pay for that sort of valet? I have BRAND NEW Montreal alloys that came with it that have never been fitted too. Quite like mine as a daily but would love it to look more cleaner. How much are the full valets to that standard please? So I don’t get conned.
