Barr Hill Gin, Vodka and Tom Cat Gin Review / Tasting

The vodka is distilled from honey. The gin is distilled from corn with juniper and raw honey as the only additives. The Tom Cat is aged in American oak barrels for about 18 months. This stuff is delicious.

Note to Barr Hill: I"ve seen your product numerous times in my local liquor stores but never thought to buy but after watching this video I might try out your vodka and maybe, just for the sake of curiosity, try your old tom gin. You guys picked a good group to sponsor your product I'd say it's time you made some bank.

@@cmcocktails I hope you guys do more videos like this though. Your opinions on liquor weigh on some of my purchases as I've bought stuff (Plantation Rum, thank you so much for pointing them out) that you've suggested. I hope some companies come your way because you guys know your stuff.

we have done reviews for over 10 years or more and they're the videos that often bring in the least amount of views. The high views come from over-the-top popular stuff or stuff that has crazy marketing...but the good stuff, the stuff that doesn't have big marketing budgets tend to get the lowest views, if I hit 850 views on this video (and ones like it) i'm doing good. But, if I make a cocktail it can e 1600+ and popular cocktails 5k+. I'd totally do more reviews if people watched 'em. Those that do always tell me they love them and we should do more... I just don't understand why more people don't care to watch them. :(

I’ve had akvavit with caraway seed...it’s pretty good...it reminds me a little of gin. I’ve had a few akvavit cocktails with orange liqueur and Lillet Blanc...
