Here is how to install a new EveryDrop Filter.

1. Have to remove the foil off the end of the filter before installing. 2. After installing, have to go to the options panel and reset.

I kept trying to twist when I should have tilted down. Now my old filter is stuck 😂

I just put a new filter in and it won’t catch at the top. The door stays closed. Is this okay or is there a way to get it to stay straight parallel to the roof?

The old filter will not screw out. It is VERY stuck! What do I do?

Greetings. When I opened the cover, the filter was in the up position like in the video, but after I replaced the filter, it won't stay in the up position when I pushed it up to close the cover. I'm still able to close the cover and the water still dispenses (and no leaks), but I just wanted to find out if anyone else has had this issue and how I can fix it. Thanks.

We finally had to force it off. And when we did, it sprayed a lot of water too. We finally found something after we got it back on. There's something about turning off the water to the fridge and draining out some water to release pressure. Gotta go find that reference again. Certainly not "small amount of water."

The new filter is a little shorter than the old one n doesn't " catch" as u put it, also my red replace filter light is still blinking after I put the new one in. Is something wrong? Ty

After installing the new filter, yes it is an evrydrop 4, there is a vibrating noise when I dispensed water to flush the new filter. When I put the old filter back in there is no noise. Any suggestions??

Very informative. But! Everydrop # 4 = Terrible taste! We replaced a water filter in our Whirlpool frig 3 weeks ago with Everydrop # 4; now, our water taste so terrible we can't drink the water. We have now ordered a different brand water filter.

After you installed the filter, did you run water from the dispenser? You have to run about a gallon of water from it to clear out that icky taste

Looking for help. I installed a new #4. No issues with simple install but no water comes out. I put the old one back in and water comes out fine. Upon I speciation between the two #4 filters I could tell the old one has a center hole which was open. The new one had a Center home with what looked like a plastic seal. That seems to be what’s blocking the water. Does this new filter need to have that center hole punctured? Seems odd that on the old one is open to where I could slide a thin screw driver down in it, but the new one I can’t put anything down in it since it’s blocked.

there is a blue cap which must be removed first on a new Ref. mine doe no9t come out. your video is good for nothing !!
