There is an episode in the mid-2000's Batman cartoon (the Batman) where Joker dresses up as Batman and tortures people for Jaywalking and other minor offenses. The White supremecist girl under the wheel was the winner of Season 2 of 'Scream Queens'. It was a reality show with acting challenges around horror themes, to win a role in a Saw movie. The Season One winner got the opening trap of Saw 6, where she cut off her arm... and then got further scenes in that film and this one. The Season Two winner got squashed under a wheel. My favorite part of the Dr. Gordon twist is that someone predicted it in a KZbin video they uploaded before Saw 6 came out. They even predicted that he did surgery on the eye guy. What's even funnier: it's legitimately possible that the writer stole that plot point from this random mega fan's theory video. I wish I could find it again so I could tell everyone where to find it.

It's just a theory, a FILM THEORY
@jeffrobinson7338 Жыл бұрын
That fan theory was originally posted on the 'House of Jigsaw' forum after Saw 2 came out and someone theorized it was Gordon who put they key behind the 'Venus Fly Frap' victim. The rest of the theory went into detail about how the next 'Jigsaw Mastermind' would just start killing people elaborately and Gordon would capture him and leave him to die in the Saw1 bathroom and that'd be the end of the series. I thought this could just have been an amazing coincidence, but then I heard the Saw 6 commentary one of the writers, who scripted Saw 4-7, mentioned the House of Jigsaw forum. The finale of this series was copied & pasted from an online theory that everyone hated.

Having him being the taking picture would've ve made so much sense, just like Gordon needed expertise in medicine need for Jigsaw's games. In regards to Gordon leaving Adam behind, besides how you pointed out that Amanda already killed him (and, according to Word of God,-and take it with a grain salt since it is coming from Tv Tropes, without any link- Gordon wanted to free Adam), according to this film, in John tape for Gordon,, the localization of the washrom was kept a secret from the Doctor, where Jigsaw likley took him barely awaken or heavily dazed to put the prothestic leg.

@@juliuswatcher1157 there are plenty of ways Adam (and) or Hoffman could have escaped. Hoffman lived in the renovated nerve gas house. By the end of Saw 7 he’s been outted and it’s the first place they’d check. Insane that no one found the house or the bathroom before that point esp after Saw II
@juliuswatcher1157 Жыл бұрын
@@RestrictedAudiencesOnly Yeah, the location reamining a complete secret is kinda unbelievable. Even considering the two houses in Saw II, the police should have the list of all John Kramer's properties by III and IV (unless this one is not listed or everyone that knew died during Hoffman raid in 3D). Also I guess we have to assume that the door would be locked/ sealed off in Hoffman's case .Considering Eric escaped the room after he broke his foot of the chain, either Amanda forgot to lock the door or Gordon improved the ways to seal the victim, besides taking away the saw from Hoffman's reach. By the ways the following films went, Hoffman is dead since no one cares for him by now. Adam could've escaped with help, but Amanda was shown killing him and we see his corpse (unless they retcon a lot in Saw XI and onwards).

The other two pigs who captured Hoffman with Gordan were the two guys from the opening trap of this film. They just cut the shots that showed their faces.

Figures. Every survivor is a potential Jigsaw, exceptions were Jigsaws wife and Hoffman. Just kill every survivor and you reduce Jigsaw wannabes.

So in this one they decided to fix their mistake of making the protagonist capable and likeable?

In terms of comedy, this is easily my favorite Saw movie. What do you mean this is a serious horror franchise?

The more bogus the time limit spam the worse the Saw film gets. Saw 6 and 1 traps had time limits but they weren't the only reason the trap was difficult like in this one. The carousel slowly rotates to its next target. When the character (even though they are idiots) does everything in their power and still loses, it just all becomes bull💩. 'You successfully sacrified your left testicle. Too bad you didn't have an extra 10 seconds. Your wife dies now'

I could have sworn, in one of the other movies, there was a body with one leg in the hallway of the meme room one of the other times they revisited that place. Was there a shot of Gordon's body in the hallway before and we just missed it?

Up to this point, I think people that go see this movie as "fans", they expect that all the characters in this movie die and nobody has a happy ending. Except for Jigsaw and his little doll.

It’s hilarious that he had a doctor on his side the whole time, but in saw 3, he abducted another doctor to do the surgery on his head 😂

The cops could probably bait jigsaw with a person claiming to be a survivor of his traps having a tracking chip under their skin. Jigsaw is insulted by someone lying and kidnaps them, the cops find him and pop a cap in his puppet ass

Did that guy headbutt the circular saw? Also I have dentures, had 14 teeth pulled all at the same time and Mauler isn't wrong, basically the exact same as the old days, blood and sinew all over the place. Plus I can saw that the last 3 were without anesthetic because I had hit the maximum amount of local anesthetic allowed to be administered safely. He would not be anywhere close to capable, I was barely conscious and practically shaking from shock after the last 3, he wouldn't be awake.

Even when we had lamb to hang in hooks at the meat shop, the hook had to go between bone or connective tissue. We'd hang them from the Achilles tendon. Even just hooking it into a big piece of meat, it would eventually tear and fall off.

I’m getting really tired of every single victim in this series approaching Jigsaw’s traps as though they WANT the traps to kill them painfully. They don’t try to get around the trap, they don’t try to subvert it, and when a trap comes along where the character could actually beat it they just stand around trembling until the timer runs out. And that’s not even touching on the times even in this movie where Kramer makes a trap actually unwinnable because, to quote another series watchthrough, “Jigsaw noticed a guy out there enjoying his life *without* suffering horrific torture first, and found that fucking unacceptable”.

in the hook trap you can pretty much hook up the ones that are higher up into the chains of the other 2, and then pull on the lower ones pulling all of them together

Ah yes, the lawsuit because you didn't ask for enough money and things turned out much more successful than you were expecting. Same thing happened with Andre Sapkowski and CDPR, he sold them the rights to make Witcher games for a flat fee because he thought they would fail, then they succeeded and he decided that really he wants a share of the profits now that CDPR grew the IP for him beyond his wildest dreams. They call it having your cake and suing for it too.
