EFAP Movies #4: DOOM

So here we are again, trying to keep this video out despite the incessant copyright. This will stay up for as long as it's allowed and if it goes down again, we're just gonna have to wait some more. There are about 7 EFAP movies that are waiting to go with this being the first and some of them were recorded so long ago that Wolf is in them. He is cool with them being released and we hope you all enjoy! I made a mistake in the original recording of this by hearing "50%" instead of "50 times" and I cut out the criticisms relating to it so that I don't end up spreading false info on this movie. DOOM is .... fun I guess, but goodness me, there's a whole bunch of issues. We will totally try and check out that new DOOM movie at some point, stay tuned and enjoy folks!

In relation to your "breaking into a Subway" conversation, I actually smashed a pizza shop window at 2am because I was drunk and pissed they were closed and I was gonna run in and grab food...but the plate glass sliced my arm open from elbow to wrist so blood sprayed everywhere immediately and I ran for it. I got several blocks before I felt blood in my shoe. My entire right side was DRENCHED in my own blood, shirt, hoodie, jeans and underpants soaked though. I looked at my arm and as I bent it, the skin gaped open and I could see my muscle tissue and tendons. I tried to close it with my hand but there was so much blood my fingers just slipped into the wound. I took my belt off and used it as a turnicate, while holding my arm over my head...and I started waiting for the bus to go home lol. The cops found me pretty quick, and when the paramedics got there they said I saved my own life by doing what I did with my belt and arm, and I nearly bled to death in the street. 26 staples and 65 stitches in my arm, and another 20 something on my leg that I didn't notice until the cops found me. They then tossed me in jail for 4 days before my bail hearing...because it was the first night of a long weekend. Hope you enjoyed the reality of breaking into a place for food while drunk. PS I was also charged with B&E because my blood had sprayed 20+ feet into the store so they assumed I went in.

@@honorafox4709 Yeah, and a cop even kicked the doctors out of the hospital room I was getting my stitches in, and started screaming in my face because I was cracking jokes and laughing in delirium, and this cop gets in my face and threatens me because I kicked some little kid out of the room door all of 10 mins. He was red in the face and inches away from mine... I burst out laughing and told him to say it not spray it, and aid what's he gonna do, beat an already severely injured prisoner INSIDE a hospital after removing all witnesses? I was drunk af and lost almost enough blood to need a transfusion, and I still made the cop look like a moron. Some are really stupid and unprofessional. Always call them on it publicly. One tiny female officer was trying to get me to leave a hospital waiting room because I yelled at the staff, and when she said move, I said no. She looked surprised, and I told her she only got her job because of feminism, and how they lowered the standards. I told her to try and move me, I wouldn't resist, just dead weight and she couldn't do it. I called her pathetic, weak and undeserving of her job. She was whisked away and I didn't see until a bit after that she was sobbing in a car through a window, and the rest of the cops, even the big guys, backed down and lost all confidence because they knew I was right. Had to spend two nights on psych watch just for that. I love fucking with cops, but I've paid the price.

As a fan of old Doom, there is a certain novelty to seeing how they tried to adapt some of the game's concepts to film. The weird walls that turn on and off seem to be an attempt to "realistically" depict the fake walls you'd occasionally run across. The rookie gets executed for not following his superior officer's orders to fire on civilians, mirroring a part of Doomguy's established backstory. The main cast draw some parallels to the characters created for Tom Hall's Doom Bible. Neat references, though they don't necessarily translate well to a movie.

The thing that bothers me the most is the color palette. They went with the black, chrome, and blue palette all the shit movies had in the 90's instead of the red, brown, and olive green pallete the games sort of have. Also, I guess they didn't have enough budget to actually show demons on screen.
