You have the type s and all you talked about is the basic model. You can't get that car for 30k or 40k that car is 53k and up and make 355hp and gas mileage is bad but who pays that much for a car and care about gas mileage.

I think Acura miss the Mark on a lot of things! Interior could've been better, less heavy, optional touch screen, optional digital cockpit, etc.

Type S is hot garbage…looks great inside and out but it’s performance is a joke every car in its segment is faster, some of those cars haven’t had drive train change in 10yrs (S4). Stinger, G70, S4, all quicker and the stinger and G70 are cheaper with ruffly the same options and stronger engine. Hell it’s just little quicker then the Accord 2.0 Sport.

I own one and I disagree. Let me educate you on why I chose this over every car you listed. It looks better, sounds better (engine, exhaust, stereo) and is definitely more reliable than all of those cars. Stinger is getting the axe, isn’t luxurious and has a poor build quality (lots of asymmetrical gaps inside and out). S4 is almost $10k more when comparably equipped. I’m not interested in paying 10k more for a car with vanilla styling that comes with frequent and much more expensive repair bills. G70 is the only true competitor, as they are similarly equipped and are the same price. It’s still a Hyundai though, which means it’s not going to be as reliable or hold its value as well as the type-s. If getting a few tenths of a second off your 0-60 time means that much to you, then the type-s isn’t your car. As far as everything else goes, the type-s does it better. Class dismissed.

@@mikeb7258 So uninformed, biased or both. The G70 has several features the Type-S doesn't have at the same price. The G70 also has a better warranty and concierge service included in the price. It's smaller and lighter with the same amount of interior space. The G70 is a RWD platform with a 50/50 weight distribution. The G70 is quicker and not just by a little bit. In terms of reliability, G70s have been out since 2018 and reliability is very good. On the other hand there are lots of problems reported on the Type-S forums and groups already. And yes, I have a 2019 G70. I used to be a Honda/Acura guy but finally got tired of waiting for Acura to come out with something good. Class is back in session. Game on.

And tons are owned by people who could afford to buy cars costing 3 times as much as they spent on thier Korean cars. The only people who would roll thier eyes would be a person like you, and you're in the minority now. Its not 1985 anymore.

It's funny how people that like those Lane brands always try to pit them against the best brands.. Korean cars are garbage after a few years. Anyone that has any business sense knows that.. I don't know of anyone that would buy any a low-end Korean car. I own 2 Hyundai vehicles, 2006 Hyundai Tucson and 2012 Hyundai Azera. Both bought new. Both are still running and everything works. I also bought (new) 2019 Genesis G70 3.3. It currently has over 65K miles in just over 2 years. I haven't done anything except schedule maintenance. There's not a problem with Korean cars, the only problem is with Idiots. Do your research, you'll find Korean vehicles rank high in dependability! It's 2021, this is not 1985 when the Hyundai Excel came out!
