This guy should never sit at a desk and do IT work or teaching again. It can kill the best of us with good health. He is getting on track with eating but needs to walk, walk, walk. And pump the non alcoholic fluids. It's really that simple. Thanks for great interview. From another Minnesotan, love your channel!

I remember taking about six large stacks of data cards each week in the early '70's to IBM, and they would quickly chatter them through their big machines, and in a few minutes our cost-estimate was all done; and i would think to myself "man alive, talk about high tech and progress" ! Buddy, go on a Keto diet and lose 70 pounds; you will feel like a new man. Best wishes to you.

@@PInk77W1 that is almost exactly what I do except I do not eat breakfast or lunch and if I get hungry, I will eat some very low calorie vegetables like green beans or cabbage during the day and at night I can have a big meal and it works perfect. Sometimes I fast for 24 or 30 hours, and that works great also but only do it once a week or once every two weeks because it is really tough, but I can drink my tea and water with no additives.

I am born and raised in Minnesota, and still live there. Yeah, I'm from a small town also...never tried the hot water thrown into the air and frozen when it hit the ground tho either. A little known secret from us in the colder climates is that we exaggerate a little bit about the weather...it's not quite as cold or snowy as we always claim. Not that it doesn't get extremely cold, icy, snowy, but not the 6 ft. of snow we always claim...LOL! The icicles hanging from the trees are absolutely beautiful as well as the snow sometimes. Also, everybody thinks we all do winter sports...this guy didn't and plus me neither as well as many others don't...we just stay inside and try to stay warm...LOL. The kids love it, though. I kinda identify with him (not the money, of course!) but we both are probably about the same age and yeah, I was in the computer industry too way back "in the day", as they say, as well as have many of my relatives/friends in it. He's right...when computers were new, you didn't need to be a genius to work with computers...just know a little bit more than someone else, the average guy, which wasn't hard (sorry!). Now it's a whole different ball game...he's right, you have to know so much, and specialize because there's so much competition now that computers, obviously, run the world. God bless. This guy sounds like a wonderful guy...I wish him well.

Well, If you are retiring don’t just keep sitting in your house. Do walking and eat healthy foods. The Philippines is has lots of organic foods and some Expats commented that they get better there. Don’t blame the healthcare because wherever you go if you don’t take care of yourself it does help to prolong your life. Me and my husband will be back home for good so he can eat more organic foods and fish. Here in the US he always meat and a lot of junk foods. I research a lot about the Healthcare insurance that we can use in the Philippines. So far I have found few that we can use in some hospitals in Philippines particularly Cebu and Manila.
